great pizza. people mention mineo's and fiori's all thetimethat is because fiori worked for joe mineo in dormont and bethal park before joe retired and fiori opened his own place. i know because i worked for fiori at mineos. first stop always when back in the burg. good fiori story he was worried about american schools and how good they were and i told him american schools were great because they teach you how to read in every language. he looked at me funny and i grabbed the old italian bible from under the counter and starting with page 1 started reading. i also called ronnie from out of the kitchen and he did the same thing with selected verses. we had fiori going for a while until he realized the bible was the bible in any language. i think back and realize that he was the best boss i ever had.

i guess it used to be good?. i usually gloat about how good fiori’s is and how no other pizza can be compared to them but the lasttimei went there was well not great. not good. not even okay at all. first off we got a small 8 cut pizza and it was 17$. that is insane. secondly, when we got the pizza out the cheese was ridiculously thick, cold(which we were early on picking it up) and nothing stayed on the pizza(cheese and toppings). it was a soggy piece of pizza with an inch of cheese that couldn’t stay on. i’m not used to this, i used to love this place but i’m not paying big bucks for a crappy piece of pizza again.

love it. i am not sure what some of you people expect when getting pizza but i've seen some complaints about it being greasy. well just to remind you it's pizza. pizza is typically greasy.
anyway, amazing place. especially with the sausage. aawesome.

old-school, classic pizza!. this is an old-school pizza shop! i'm sure that many of the foodie-types who frequent yelp are going to dismiss this place, but having heard so much about it from my local pizza-loving friends about the pie at fiori's, i finally decided to stop and order a couple of pizzas to go while i was in the neighborhood. the sauce definitely isn't for everyone - it's a departure from the typical corporate pizza crap that everyone has gotten used to. but the sauce is interesting, and the crust is perfect. a little too much flour used when it was flown, but i'm guessing that's because the place was doing such a high volume of business. the pepperoni reminds me of the old mineo's pizza, small slices that curl up and produce little grease pools. wow, now that's the pepperoni i love, and definitely not the pepperoni you'll find at papa john's, or vocelli's, or domino's, or little caesar's, or pizza hut. this is the pizza of your youth - the pizza you remember your dad bringing home, complete with the relic-style pizza box. it's not in my neighborhood, and i'm lucky enough to live close to luciano's, but if i'm hungry and in the vicinity of fiore's anytimesoon, i won't hesitate to grab a couple more pies - maybe one for dinner and one for breakfast!

guess i'm missing something?. my boyfriend (who is from ohio and has probably never had a real pizza) and i (who am sicilian-albeit a sicilian who likes dominos...yeah yeah i know...) disagree on this one. he loves it. me, well, i don't hate it. but i won't eat it. dominos thin crust is my favorite, but i'll be honest, i look at it as a food i like. not a real pizza, so don't let my opinion on that sour you on my review. i like all kinds of pizza, and will give any a shot.

everyone in town told us we had to try this pizza. why? they don't deliver. i have to go get it and by thetimei get home (in 5 minutes) it's cold. the sauce is like a tomato paste consistency and the cheese is questionable. it's that cheese that looks like plastic when it gets cold and never does melt again when you reheat it. i guess you can't fault them on how their product reheats...but it is pizza, and one appeal of pizza is leftover pizza, and often cold left over pizza and this one isn't good either way.

best ingredients? i doubt it. overrated for certain. try it, maybe you will like it, but if this is how pittsburgh does pizza, i'll pass.

xoxo. i definitely crave fiori's fromtimetotimeand go out of my way to get it. the sauce is sweet, and i don't normally like that, but they make it right. you don't ever need to ask for extra cheese. i made that mistake once. they are generous with the toppings.

remembers when they were in bethel park. i grew up loving fiori's, though it was a bethel park location on rt. 88 near lytle rd. the thing i remember most from thattimewas their awesome steak hoagies. i haven't had one of those from this location, but i intend to see if they are still something to rave about.

the pizza is very tasty on two counts, and just "eh" on the third... i love the sweet sauce and cheese blend - these two things are awesome! (i don't always like such a sweet sauce on my pizza, but i *do* love fiori's when i get it.) but their dough leaves something to be desired. to me, it seems like one of those preformed pizza shells that you would get in the refrigerated section of the grocery store, and it reminds me also of middle-school cafeteria pizza dough. same thing - preformed shell taste..kinda bland, kinda dry.

it's been a while since we've been there, but we will try it again for the sauce, cheese, and maybe to try one of those steak hoagies. it's not the place i have to go everytimei want pizza, though.

some people crave ice cream or mashed potatoes when they are in need of comfort food, but for us it's pizza. during a very sadtimethis past week, judy - who is beautiful inside and out - suggested a little pizza therapy and we gratefully accepted. judy

great local pizza place. tried fiori's for the firsttimeon our way home from the southside after drinking about 15 years ago, and it really hit the spot. have eaten there many times since then (sober and not), and it's always awesome. the sauce is a little sweet, but the super-provaloney flavor of their cheese balances it well. nice crust that's thin but never soggy. service is always no-nonsense. not a lot of room for seating, so be prepared to take your cut to go when it's busy.
