love this place to bits...no.1 choice if i want to be alone...love the servers too 😘
i usually order the cold cuts with manchego, and extra servings of the complimentary bread. i like the rich olive oil that goes with the bread...though i wish it comes with balsamic vinegar just like before. steak is 👌 however..they can improve on the gravy..quite salty for my taste =) but all in all, i am very happy

finally had the time to visit fino deli. nice place. good food. cold beer. had the sausage and cheese platter for starters. not bad but it could have been a bit more for the price. for the main, my wife and i split a tomahawk pork chop. this to me was very good. for dessert, we had the canonego which was very good also.

the place was really nice. i felt a bit under dressed in my flip flops. sorry about that. parking space was ample.

keep it up!

i celebrated my birthday dinner here together with my fambam and hawie.

the ambiance is really high-end and such a great place for mature talks. they also have friendly & approachable waiters.

we ordered the ff:
1) pan-seared salmon w/ lemon dill mousse (p 410)-
we got 2 orders of this one and it has a cool plating with alfalfa on top. it is served with spanish rice.
2) chicken marsala (p 395)- we also got 2 orders of this. it has olives, mushroom, mashed potato and carrots as side dish. chicken is tender and juicy.
3) truffle mushroom pasta (p 275)- i super love my order! from its aroma to its al dente noodles..perfecto!
4) calamares (p 199)- small slices of squid in batter fried to perfection combined with its mayo garlic dip,oh heaven!
5) cinco queso (p 500)- best 5-cheese pizza i've tasted so far! lovin the thin crust and of course the 5 different cheeses! well, the bleu cheese is prominent haha

they have big servings so we werent able to finish everything and took the extra home 😋

my mom coordinated with the management and they surprised me with a warm birthday greeting in a form of song and a super yummy créme bruleé!!!

*creme brulee- crunchy and torched on top but underneath is soft and fluffy pudding. it isnt too sweet!! it's a good thing because pantanggal "umay" 😍

will definitely come back!!! we just need to have extra budget for another classy dinner date like this one ☺

the ambiance has got to be one of the main features of fino deli -- aside from the tables arranged a little close to each other, one would definitely feel that it is a classy dining experience.

specifics:
prosciutto with manchego cheese: the serving size for the platter was small, but the taste was splendid. it came with sky flakes on the side which i think breaks the aesthetic - but surprisingly its taste blended well with the cheese and olives.

four cheese rigattoni: too creamy and lacks umami. could use a hard cheese to amplify the taste.

truffle mushroom pasta: has a really slight bitter aftertaste but really good as well.

being 10 minutes away from home, fino deli is our go-to place whenever we feel like having wine and tapas, especially on a weekday. just don't go on a monday as it's the only day of the week that it's closed. we love the ambience. it has a homey vibe due in large part to the personnel - very friendly and helpful all the time. the wine selection is ok, as is the food. the menu has improved tremendously since our first visit. i recommend their steak - very good value. their wine selection is slowly catching up too.

had dinner here after school with my cousins and tita & tito.
we had three orders of pasta.. chicken pesto, spaghetti w/ meatballs, crabonara. and two flavors of pizza.. all meat and cinco queso.

the pesto lacked flavor but we all loved spag w/ meatballs. i also liked the crabonara as it's def crabby. hahaha the pizzas were big, i only had a slice of each and i was already full. cheese lovers would enjoy cinco queso!!

the place is very nice. perfect for an intimate dinner date or if you fancy a wine and cheese night with the girls lol 😬

the cinco quezo pizza is a full-bodied fare that's surely more cheese than dough. one couldn't ask for more. this was enjoyed freshly-done at the resto and the day after at home. the truffle mushroom pasta pales in comparison when it comes to flavor - nothing that can't be resolved with a liberal seasoning of salt, pepper, and herbs. coffee is not memorable, sadly. what a plus it would be for customers to know that they can get great quality coffee in this gem of a place, even if it's a deli and not a cafe. the complimentary bread was delicately good and i had seconds of it.

the interiors are on point. i appreciate the layout and lighting choices that made for a warm and elegant deli-resto experience. details including table design and room decors seem well-thought-out. plants outside were non-obtrusive and served as the backdrop to fino deli's minimal outdoor seating. there was ample parking. the location lent a peaceful vibe to the restaurant.

the staff carried themselves professionally. nothing much was expected of their service but i was delightfully impressed with their decorum.

future visits are warranted. steak, cold cuts, cheese, wine, and other things are in order.

it was a sigh of relief that our last stop for the night weren’t another serving of kare-kare or bagnet. nothing against the previous restaurants but at that moment, i don’t think my stomach can handle another full load. instead, our hunger games ends with wine and cheese with raised pinky fingers (did i just say that out loud?).

if you're looking for a nearby place that offers good food, perfectly-paired wine and a "date night" ambience, then fino deli is the best place to be. my husband and i loved the food, the wine, the atmosphere, and the service. though i'm not a fan of their tomahawk pork chop (but my husband said he loved it), the cold cuts and cheese platter # 2 and the bottle of moscato wine made up for it. and oh, their rib eye steak was very juicy! :)

orders:
caesar salad
cold cuts and cheese platter # 2
ribeye steak
tomahawk pork chop
a bottle of moscato (white wine)

definitely coming back!

looking for a date place in marikina? want to impress someone? in the mood for wine and cheese? whatever it is, fino deli is the place to be. choose from their variety of cold cuts and cheeses, pastas and more. they have pretty good pizzas and entreés too. ive visited this place as a part of our zomatoxabscbn food crawl and just recently with my family. surprised though that food portions are not really good for sharing (found out after my second visit). it's definitely more for a tita's night out or an intimate date. do not bring your hungry brother unless you want to splurge and order 3 dishes for him alone to finish.

what we had: for the food crawl, we got to try their cold cuts and cheese platter 1 (consists of spanish manchego cheese, italian prosciutto, olives), cold cuts and cheese platter 2 (dutch aged gouda, italian salami, olives), italian manchego, spanish salchichon, truffle mushroom pasta and cinco queso (their take on 5-cheese pizza with creamy white sauce).

for our family dinner, we tried their ceasar salad, all-meat pizza, calamares, pan seared salmon with lemon-dill mousse, spaghetti and meatballs and again their truffle mushroom pasta.

amongst all the dishes that ive got to try at fino deli, i like their pizzas the best and their pan seared salmon with lemon-dill mousse. i love the smell of the truffle mushroom pasta but it needs a little dash of salt (or at least for me).

what's interesting though is that this place is the only wine bar serving wine from romania. i enjoyed my terase danubiene roze. castel starmina merlot was served too.

the place lies in the quiet neighborhood of marikina heights, and if not for waze, id probably get lost around here. but that's what makes it lovely right? a hidden gem, waiting to be discovered by many! next time i'll bring my girlfriends and try dining al fresco. sounds fun to me!!

fino deli is one of the very few classy places in marikina; it's a nice place for dates or for impressing important clients. it has a spacious parking space, and that's definitely a plus! for the zomatoxabscbn crawl, we tried their truffle pasta, a selection of meat and cheese pairings, and two kinds of wine. fancy food and drinks worth visiting!

in this post: cinco queso, truffle mushroom pasta, cold cuts and cheese platter

if you're looking for a romantic fine dining date spot in marikina that won't hurt your pocket that much, fino deli is the perfect place for you. this italian spanish restaurant, that opened around 10 months ago serving imported wines from romania, is one of the restaurants we visited during the hunger games day2: marikina organized by zomato, abs-cbn, and choose philippines.

fino deli is the new kid in town and definitely a "must see"! this tapas/wine and cheese bar is fancy but not out of your price range.

they have different kinds of cheese and meats to match your chosen wine; pizza, and pasta. i loved their cinco pizza with 5 kinds of cheeses (490php; mozzarella, blue cheese, parmesan, cream cheese, and cheddar). the truffle pasta (235php) isn't bad, but i wish they would've cooked the pasta better - it was very soggy. this place has its own cellar filled with castel starmina - fino's romania-imported house wine. good quality wine without the expensive price tag.

if you are looking for a nice deli and wine place in marikina, fino should definitely top your to-visit list.
