the frog and the foodie. i have never had a bad meal at fin. my colleagues and i have taken numerous customers and visiting colleagues and had excellent meals in a nice setting. as my guests are typical foodies, some from france and italy, i have not had any reason to apologize and i often get celebrated for my choice restaurants. my personal favorite dishes are the charred romaine salad and the scallops over risotto. deserts vary, but are always great. the only drawback experiences thus far have been related to the bar. they seem not to hold a reasonable inventory level, as they often run out of a drafts, bottle beers, and wines. on several occasions, thewinelist has been found to be far from current. i continue to work around these short-comings as i find the food to worth the extra effort i have to spend in finding a beer orwinesubstitute. a french guest and i enjoyed an excellent faux gras appetizer dish there in april.

will never eat here again. extremely unprofessional. the bartender "tommy" was very attentive, with prompt and courteous service. fin has advertisements in the locker room of my local gym that attracted myself there to eat whereas prior i only frequented there forwinewith friends. these advertisements such as the thai chicken spinach salad evidently has not been on the menu in some time. so instead i tried the salmon, cous cous, walnut pesto. unfortunately, an employee in which he and i had bad dealings a few years back, approached me in an aggressive manner and created a ruckus. he was not present when i arrived or otherwise i would have left prior to being serviced. though when he came into my establishment two nights ago, i was the person whom greeted him and remained professional, not even charging him the cover. he stayed and enjoyed some beverages and left without me giving him any looks, gestures, or rude comments. a female, whom was either the manager or owner of fin also came over and gave me an attitude and told me to "walk on" at which time the bartender tommy addressed them stating "this is extremely unprofessional!" and he again apologized to me.(i was seated at the bar finishing my drink) will be looking at filing a formal complaint with the proper entities.

love. very impressed with the food, atmosphere, and staff. we met kenny and it was easily to tell that he was putting his all into the place. greatwineselection! the ahi was superb. will return as often as possible.

beautiful little restaurant. we had 15 for my son's graduation. the food was excellent and the pricing was really reasonable. we had goodwineand good atmosphere. a real hidden gem.

poor customer service. we arrived with a reservation expressly asking for the tapas answinepairing they have every tuesday. we were seated in the dining room and then told what we wanted would only be served in the bar. we offered to move to the bar and were told the chef would only prepare three tapas. we left.

upscale seafood. i have eaten here a few times and have always had a great experience. sometimes the waitstaff can be hit or miss, but the fare is always good. they have a mix of fresh local and regional mixed seafood and some really good steaks. decentwineselection and great local beers on draught. i really enjoy their fried oysters and they have a great wedge salad. i enjoyed their ahi tuna appetizer the tuna tasted really fresh! you eat this one with chopsticks. (rare tuna with ponzu and wasabi. fresh cucumber salad. garnished with spicy sriracha). this restaurant is upscale and pricey but well worth it. their steaks are from schlesinger's (sister company) across the street so they are decent quality. you can also get coupons by signing up on their mailing list.

a real value. we have become fans of fin. i agree that this isn't a cheap restaurant, but we signed up for their newsletters, and watch carefully for specials. we often order from the prix fix menu. i don't think you can beat the value. the food is delicious. it's creatively cooked and imaginatively presented. the chicken francese... an egg washed chicken breast sautéed with a lemon, whitewineand crab sauce, served with a choice of soup salad and dessert is a great buy at $19.95. the under $10.00 lunches are generous, tasty and beautiful. this has become one of our favorite places to meet with friends and share a glorious meal.
