famous for its burgers - and rightly so! huge burgers slid into a fresh-baked helms bakery bun, no choice of condiments, comes with yummy sautéed onions and the usual pickles etc. fries are thin and crispy and one serving can easily be shared. good beer and ciders on tap.

as advertised, this is one place that lived up to the hype…great burger and great beer selection. the original location is better but the one in culver city was excellent as well! anytime you are in the mood for great eats you have to make a stop here….do yourself a favor, just get the burger.

ultimate food with great dining area. i enjoyed the burger here with my friends.  everything is delicious. you should give it a try to enjoy the tasty food.

a classic la spot with a very large menu. 24 hours for breakfast, lunch, or dinner no matter the hour. the freshly baked bread is delicious and they put a lot of meat on their sandwiches. nice, friendly waitstaff.

i can never get tired of this place.

the beer selections are great, not to mention the father's office burger that pairs well with any beer here. the music is cool and the bartenders have good knowledge of which beers compliments certain dishes. (i've always gotten a bartender who knows)

there are other items on the menu to order besides the burger. however the menu does change from time to time either removing a dish you might like or keeping it for a bit longer. rip fat shrimp lol

a great place to go for brews with friends. while you're at it, grab the burger. you wont be disappointed.

if you grew up in socal, you went to school with an asian guy everyone hates. that well-rounded kid who made not just a's but 100 percent on every physics exam, whose mellifluous prose punished your languished libel while seamless symphonies flowed from flawless fingers on at least three different instruments. you were friends but you wore a smile of feigned friendship, a mask for the constant competition, basking in the red-hot glow of mutual resentment and admiration.

when you pull in, there's free valet parking.
this location was very mellow and had plenty of outdoor seating.
they have a great selection of beer and wine. (wine on tap!)
ordered the eggplant fritters, the office burger with fries, and the mushroom grits.
the food, drinks and atmosphere was amazing. would definitely come back!

the burger is a little pricey at $12, but it's amazing. the fries were the best part in my opinion though. best burger in la? definitely top 5.

now, this has been called the best burger in america at one point by esquire magazine. it’s not.

it’s a damn fine burger. you’ll thank yourself for having it., but it’s not the best burger in america. heck, i’m not even sure it’s the best burger in town.

there really isn’t any problem with it. they do serve it with a brown, sticky sweet aioli of some kind. (some kind, because the father’s office website does not have a menu page).

they also serve just the one kind of burger, so…there’s that.

it’s a damn fine burger, and damn fine fries. they didn’t blow my mind or anything, but that’s okay.

practically every time there is a list of the best burgers in l.a./the u.s./the world/beyond, father's office famous the office burger makes the list.  so why haven't i tried it?  because the very famous, very strict non-modification policy...

the office burger at father’s office is acclaimed by many to be the best burger in los angeles. i know that may be a shock to diehard in-n-out fans, but sang yoon’s office burger is quite delicious. the gastropub offers some of amazing beer selections and pairs well with the menu. for this blog post, it will only concentrate on the burger and fries.

the burgers came with fries which were brought to us in a mini frialator basket and they were delicious! thin, shoestring cut tossed in herbs and served with a yummy garlic aioli.

beautiful beef, lots of arugula, maytag blue cheese, caramelized onions, and bacon compote. i forgive the use of the french roll.

cool hangout, good food. this gastropub has a great atmosphere. if you’re looking for a trendy bar with gourmet food, this is the place. the menu is small and they do not allow any customizations to your order, but the food is good. the burger i had was juicy and the bread was fresh. it’s location is great, because it seems like it is the only business in the area that is open after “regular” business hours. so, there’s plenty of free parking in the lot nearby. we just stopped in for a quick bite to eat, but this seems like a great place to meet up with friends, have a beer and hang out.
