we had sunday brunch here and thefoodwas great! the french toast is some of the best i've had. the cuban had delicious flavor but the bread was a little on the hard side. overall friendly staff and nice atmosphere. they stay busy so we did have to wait around 20 minutes for a table, but it was so worth it!

last night my fiancè and i decided to treat ourselves for dinner and we tried the farmer brown! the decor is so nice and cosy. they have a little garden outside where they grow they own food, so cute.
the staff are so friendly and helpful. thefoodwas amazing! so tasty and fresh! we shared the starter which was pulled pork taco and it was amazing, the meat was so tasty and right amount of flavours that matched well together.
i had chicken wings for main and my fiancè had farmer burger. both dishes came with the side of fries and we both had parmesan fries. everything was sensational. my chicken wings weren't too spicy and the fries were just right!
the burger was pretty amazing too and you could taste the fresh ingredients! my fiancè would have wished for more beer choices. i ordered homemade iced tea which was refreshing and not sugary.
thefoodis very filling and i think just the main course would have been enough, but still worth it haha

i've heard nothing but good things about farmer browns, and always admired theirfoodgarden out front when passing by, so after a long wait i finally made it in for some lunch the other day. the lunch menu has a great selection with soups, salads, some good looking sambos, burgers, and an all day breakfast if that's what you're after. the place was hoppin', so we just about managed to get a seat outside in the covered, heated area. i went for the beef burger and was pretty happy with my choice. there were two patties of meat, cheese, roasted red pepper, and a huge portion of sweet potato fries to compliment it. an absolute feast of a lunch. the guy at the table beside me was eating a white chocolate brownie which i was very tempted to get for dessert, but unfortunately i was just  too full by the time i'd cleaned my plate to handle it... next time! lovely little spot, friendly and efficient service, i'll definitely be back.

farmer browns is such a quaint restaurant that instantly makes you feel like you are in a neighbours house. thefoodspeaks for itself. it is comfortfooddone well and i can't put enough emphasis on how delicious the sweet potato fries with aioli were. i had 'the cuban' sandwich and i can safely say that it may now be my favourite sandwich in dublin. it is cheap, cheerful and a vibrant little place that needs to go on your 'to-eat' list straight away. see you soon farmer browns :)

farmer browns is a great brunch spot. you have to get there early as its tiny and v popular. managed to get in one day recently as it was 10 on a sunday. within 15 mins the place was full. thefoodhere is fantastic, very fresh and a great menu. brunch is their forte, was there for lunch recently and the menu is less interesting. coffee is fine but thefoodis so good you can forgive fbs for it. try brunch and get there early!

wheeell, what can i say about this place? first off, theres’ a gorgeous dog waiting in the walk way to greet you when you come in which is a win any day in my book and, when i finally made it into the establishment to eat there were even more pleasant surprises to come!

a bright little spot tucked away in ballsbridge with a few outdoor seats for those of us partial to a little al fresco dining once the scorching irish summer reaches it’s peak 18 degrees. i’d heard great things about the farmer brown’s dinner options but decided to hit them up fro brunch figuring if thefoodis worth checking out, it should be good allllll day long.
marrying a penchant for eating out with trying to avoid piling on the pounds can be a tactful situation so i do occasionally choose one of those new hip healthy superfood meals for the dining out experience without the side order of guilt… the healthy breakfast was chosen on that premise but it was far from your standard cardboard muesli! sean went for his usual eggs benedict and was equally as impressed with his choice both visually and taste-wise.

his dish was the most beautifully presented eggs benny he’s (we’d!) ever seen… i think those dishes can often end up looking sloppy & unappetising but they stacked in a very visually appealing way adding extra colour to any otherwise yellow & brown dish. my meal was also almost too pretty to eat too with the effort on presentation not going unnoticed.

the atmosphere was great, staff were lovely and thefoodwas divine.. this place should be the next brunch spot on your list.

thefoodhere is invariably simple but well-prepared and high-quality, and the staff are efficient, relaxed, and pleasant to deal with.  their breakfast salad is one of the more unique offerings, and has become my go-to weekend brunch treat. consistency (consistent excellence!) in a world gone mad, and highly recommended.

went here recently with much anticipation as i had heard good things but i was unfortunately disappointed. although the restaurant had a nice setting and friendly staff i was disappointed with my brunch. i think this restaurant has hiked up its prices as a result of its reputation and it is definitely not worth it. there is nothing particularly wrong with thefoodbut i don't feel like it's worth it!

i went for brunch last weekend and can honestly say that i can't believe i've never been before. amazing food- we tried the burger, club sandwich and breakfast salad (basically a fry in a salad-amazing!). what makes this place even better is the restaurants dog, scone, to keep you company while you wait for yourfood:)

seriously impressed by this hidden gem! went for an early brunch this morning, and ordered the breakfast salad (far from your usual salad!), filled with sausage, pudding, bacon, poached egg and a side of their amazing bread. a fry like meal which didnt leave me feeling overfull, yet i was very satisfied. also ordered a portion of their sweet potatoe fries and was extreeemely impressed!! im usually very picky about sweet pot fries, but these were perfectly cooked, and the aioli sauce was to die for. amazing coffee, and lovely place in general. service was a biiit slow, but thefoodwas so good it cant be flawed.

absolutely fantastic spot for brunch and to cure a hangover on the weekend! the starvin' marvin' is a mountain offoodand more than enough to fill you. the staff are really nice and helpful and it's a great atmosphere at weekend. the dinner menu is good but doesn't match up to the quality of the brunch

i've yet to eat at farmer brown's for dinner, but i've been told that it's good value and tasty. if the brunch is any indication, then i'm confident of a return visit. yes, the interior is cosy, a little too cosy perhaps, but the staff are the right side of chatty friendly, thefoodis quality and the prices are friendly. surprisingly, the shabby chic decor works very well. i didn't look at the walls very closely, but i wouldn't have been surprised the see the holy trinity of dev, jfk and jpii looking down on the diners.
