decent cafeteria style mediterranean food. stopped by fadis to give it test drive eating in. i have tried takeout from a different location, that i reviewed elsewhere in urbanspoon.
fadis is a cafeteria style line with many choices. i was immediately greeted by a nice young man working the dip section, as i started through the line. he was very pleasant and asked several questions to make sure i was getting the items the way i wanted. i opted for hummus and spicy hummus. i was then passed off to the salad section (once again a nice, pleasant greeting from the employee) where i ordered the tabbouleh, fattoush, and pasta salad.
from the veggie station i loaded up on grilled eggplant, broccoli, and mixed vegetables. my main course selection was the baked red snapper. meal was topped off with whole wheat pita bread (i really like the fact they offer a whole wheat option).
from the hummus selection the standard hummus is ok, while the spicy hummus is really good. their tabbouleh is just average, while the fattoush was pretty good. i did not care for the pasta salad as there was too much feta for my tastes, but could have just been me. all the veggies were decent, but nothing stood out as excellent. same for the red snapper.
once seated, my table top was a bit sticky, but the rest of therestaurantlooked immaculate.
my major impressions are decent food, fast service, at a reasonable price and served with a smile.
fadis is a repeat.
