fadi's mediterranean grill

i have been at fadi’s few moths before as one of my friends recommended to try out at fadi’s if you love mediterranean. but i was bit disappointed andchickenkabobs was not delicious as we were expecting and also rest of platter is ok.

nights are for trying out new restaurants. last night, i decided to pay a visit to the fadi's, had heard a lot about the healthy mediterranean cuisine there.

an overwhelming array of dishes welcomes you as you enter the restaurant, veg and non veg delicacies attractively lined up. ambience wise, the place might be a bit of let down with no signature decor depicting mediterranean region. chattering big families with noisy kids running around, most of the folks being from asian, arab origin. so if you are looking for a peaceful dinner with some moments of introspection, then this is definitely not the place. its a boon for buffet diggers of course, who fill their to-go boxes to the brim.
quality of food was pretty average. i tried thechickenshawarma. frankly speaking, i have tasted better ones in india. tried another eggplant dish, which was good. humus was bland and tasted average. price wise, its a bit on the higher side. service was fast. on a scale of 10, i would rate it a 5. strictly a one time visit.

great. here is how much i like fadis's. i have eaten her at least twice a week since they opened. my favorite is thechickenshawarma sandwich. everything is great and consistent. i have never brought friends here who weren't impressed, too.

i agree with wilsonluv's review below. everything is fresh and delicious. i had their $7.99 daily lunch special which consisted of a meat, a salad and a side vegetable and bread. (instead of a salad you can have two vegetables.) because the restaurant is set up cafeteria style, this is a great opportunity for someone who is apprehensive or who has never tried middle eastern food to try it here in an informal setting. i had the greek salad which was a mixed green salad with cucumbers and feta cheese tossed with balsamic vinegar. i had pomegranate eggplant for a side which was very good. for the protein i had the fadi'schickenwhich looked appetizing but was just okay. it was dry with little flavor. my dining partners both enjoyed their meals. i liked the looks of their lamb shanks but will save that for next time. the atmosphere is bright and service is limited being mostly like a luby'a where the portions are doled out. the portions are quite large though with the luncheon special enough to serve two.drinks consist of three different iced teas and assorted soft drinks, all self-serve. they also have fresh squeezed juices and turkish coffee. they also have food to go and also cater. all-in-all i was very pleased and would certainly return.

healty food. best when they are busy since it's a service line. fadi'schickenis my favorite.

great greek food!!outstanding service.. the food is great over here!! the service is awsome , i got the sampler plater oh boy it had a lil bit of tabouli , fatoush, spinach, greek , some wonderful roested califlower and yummy rice with carrots on the top.. i had some fadischickenalso with the best hummus in town no joke. i can't wait to go back and eat some of the wonderful food.. i tried their kanafie for the first time umm thank you fadi's for exclent food and service hope to see in you south lake soon!!over all i thought mediterrenean food was not good till i walk at fadi's it's like walking to heaven yummmy yummmy stuff

great food!. love their food! everything is delicious and fresh. i really like their salads, potatoes, fish and thechickenand beef gyros.

great food!. fadi's is awesome. i love everything they serve here. the homemade pita bread is so good, especially when you get it as soon as they get it out of the oven. i love their fadi'schickenand the falafel. the shawarma is tasty and good. in fact, everything that i have had here has been very good. the owners are always there, and the service is polite and friendly. even when they are packed, the line goes through quickly & i always seem to find a place to sit. love it, love it, love it!
