i tried this place for the first time.. it was agoodplace with average ambiance. we ordered chicken caesar salad, crispy fried chicken, hot and sour chicken soup, classic chicken steak. food was very delicious and presented well! we also ordered sangria. it was okay as the fruits that were chopped didn’t seem to be fresh and were drowning in the wine.
overall it was agoodexperience. pocket friendly too!

on a day with the mood for celebration we wanted some music and fun andgoodfood. we went on a date and it was reallygoodvibes. there is no dance floor - one can dance near the table if so.
weekends gets too crowded by 8.30 pm. we went at around 7.30 pm and we got a table.

smoking area seating is different from the non smoking seating which is good. loved the decor and music.

what we ordered and ate:
1. peri peri fries: 5/5
lot of quantity and super yum fries. it was a tub full of fries and enough peri peri in it. this tub will go on until u finish dinner. just nibble along.

2. tandoori chilli chicken: 5/5
super yum and tasty with chutney and sides.

3. honey glazed chicken: 5/5
sweet and spicy to the taste and was perfectly balanced with some veggies along.

4. cocktails: 4.8/5
good range of cocktails and blended well

no much options for mocktails or juices. can be better. did not try any other veg options so unaware of it.

visited this place on a sat evening. felt a bit crowded but it was worth nonetheless!
good food,goodvibes,goodmusic and drinks..sums it all!
do visit with your squad if looking our for agoodplace to hangout on weekends!

i came here after hearing a lot of hype. it did stand up to it. i had cream of mushroom, fusili olio, sun-dried tomato sandwich, tawa pulao, onion rings, cheesy fries and also lit. all of them were excellent in quantity and the value for money is extremelygoodhowever lit was not that strong. service was excellent. i hope to come to this place again. i completely recommend this place.

i visited this restaurant on my trip to manipal for the live match screening. we ordered various items like burgers chilly cheese fries and chicken wings. they were verygoodand quantity was great prices were ingoodrange. overall i liked the place very much. negatives - the songs were being played very loud and also for non alcoholics very few options available in drinks.

this was one of the most happening places in manipal. they have wide varieties of food and drinks. service wasgoodand buffalo wings we ordered was too good. but,price is high comparitively. a perfect hangout place!
i recently had their ghost pepper wings. it was so hot that half of my face was numb. i loved it!

came here for dinner ... the cocktails weregoodand service was quick.

for appetisers we had chicken tikka and nachos, which were good.

now coming to the main course, i fed other reviews here and based on which i had ordered teriyaki chicken bao and herb chicken steak. the bao was not good, the steak was the worst. i couldn’t finish the steak, it was bland, seemed like a frozen chicken was heated and served.

ambience ? seemsgoodfor a place like manipal, considering what this town had to offer before.

eye of the tiger sure brings back memories, if i could go back to manipal again to live another student life, i would gladly take it. now coming to the eye of the tiger, it is one of the classy places in manipal which provides great ambience, with a fine setup and somegoodkick-ass rock n roll music. it is a great place to chill with your friends. these are some of the dishes that i've tried from there.

the food is decent but it is comparatively pricier than your everyday manipal food joints. while at eye of the tiger, make sure to ask for a pitcher/tower of beer to enhance the vibe.

eye of the tiger is one place where i love to spend money and i go to or order from atleast once every month. my all time favourite dishes are the pesto fish, dilregano fish, the cheese fries, the coffee brownies and the durban bunny chow. i dont like their pastas as much, but their mac and cheese is good. their mocktails and cocktails are something to really try, they're very innovative and interesting, especially the spicy aam ras. they serve great starters and soups (especially, the french onion soup) too. i haven't really tried the salads and the indian food there, but they must be good. also, their dessert with coconut icecream is delicious.
i have tried their sunday buffet lunch too. i didn't like everything there but it was worth the money. they have live counters for eggs and pasta, each.
it is agoodplace to go for a night when you want to treat yourself or your friends. if your family is in town, you should take them here. it would be worth your time and money.

we visited this place for the second time yesterday. one of the places which hasgoodvariety in manipal.

1. chilly cheese fries : this is a must have in this place. fries with masala combined with melted cheese will leave you wanting for more. the quantity given was very good. 5 of us got agoodeat out of it. the best part of this dish is that , the fries retained their crunchiness even after so much melted cheese inside.

2. shredded lamb with pepper : this was an excellent dish as well. well cooked lamb combined with a sweet and sour sauce was a hit. this combo also had a strong hit of pepper as the name suggests. the slightly crunchy veggies added a great texture to the dish as well.

3. chicken kebab: nothing special about this dish. usual kebab cooked with a mild masala.. agooddish indeed

now we were thinking that it was going well until the fried rice arrived.

we had ordered chilly garlic chicken and prawn fried rice and schzwn prawn fried rice. all three dishes were blande and had no flavour. the meat put inside(chicken and prawns) were too light in flavour almost as if we couldn't feel it. the slight smoky flavour that you would expect from a fried rice was absent. the burnt garlic that was added to the dishes was sticky and didn't really go well on the pallete. all three dishes were a let down.

overall an okayish experience. but you should visit this place for their excellent starters

definitely one of the best place to hangout, eat and drink in manipal. never dissapoints with agoodselection of food and alcohol. definitely recommended!
