got a cockroach in thefoodi was delivered.
i have no words for how horrible that is and how disgusted i was
it’s a shame that even basic hygiene standards are not being met.

i tried this place for the first time.. it was a good place with average ambiance. we ordered chicken caesar salad, crispy fried chicken, hot and sour chicken soup, classic chicken steak.foodwas very delicious and presented well! we also ordered sangria. it was okay as the fruits that were chopped didn’t seem to be fresh and were drowning in the wine.
overall it was a good experience. pocket friendly too!

came to manipal as a visitor. checked zomato for places to eat and eye of the tiger looked good.
in one sentence, "hands down thefoodwas tasty"
every dish had so much flavor to offer and delicately prepared.
we had,
creme of mashroom soup.
teriyaki chicken bao
chicken victoria
herb sause chicken steak
chicken pasta
paneer papad starter, etc..

the drinks were well prepared.
sangria, liit, whiskey sour was the best.

the only problem i had was the place was too dark just a candle at the table and dull spot lights, we had to use our phone's flash to read the menu and see the dish that was served.
please light up the place we would love to see the colours and presentation of thefoodand drinks served.

except for that, thank you for the amazing experience.

on a day with the mood for celebration we wanted some music and fun and good food. we went on a date and it was really good vibes. there is no dance floor - one can dance near the table if so.
weekends gets too crowded by 8.30 pm. we went at around 7.30 pm and we got a table.

smoking area seating is different from the non smoking seating which is good. loved the decor and music.

what we ordered and ate:
1. peri peri fries: 5/5
lot of quantity and super yum fries. it was a tub full of fries and enough peri peri in it. this tub will go on until u finish dinner. just nibble along.

2. tandoori chilli chicken: 5/5
super yum and tasty with chutney and sides.

3. honey glazed chicken: 5/5
sweet and spicy to the taste and was perfectly balanced with some veggies along.

4. cocktails: 4.8/5
good range of cocktails and blended well

no much options for mocktails or juices. can be better. did not try any other veg options so unaware of it.

thefoodwas good...and value for money...i ordered pesto fish just that the blanched veggies didnt have salt in them... and the rice was just plain chilli rice...

fizzy drinks without fizz, max and cheese without seasoning, burnt chicken wings, tasteless burger and endless waiting for ourfoodsums up our experience at eott.

the wide variety offoodand drinks options at eye of the tiger is great. i can't recall the name right now, but one of their drinks, with gin and chillies in it, was quite remarkable. it's got a dimly lit yet exciting ambience, with the freddie mercury statue taking the limelight.

i liked the decor and sports screening but the restaurant is too dark and it's difficult to read the menu card and see what we're eating.
but thefoodis delicious. i specially enjoyed the herb roasted chicken with madhrd potato.

the much hyped (well deserved) e.o.t offers scrumptious meals and satisfies the thirst for all the beer lovers out there. with a diverse continental and north indian menu ,they are sure to give you a finger licking experience. beer and cocktail offerings are well planned . might be a bit heavy on the pocket sometimes,but sure worth the experience.
head out here for the oktober fest - both beer heads and spicyfoodlovers, e.o.t has something fun in stores for you!

this was one of the most happening places in manipal. they have wide varieties offoodand drinks. service was good and buffalo wings we ordered was too good. but,price is high comparitively. a perfect hangout place!
i recently had their ghost pepper wings. it was so hot that half of my face was numb. i loved it!

eye of the tiger sure brings back memories, if i could go back to manipal again to live another student life, i would gladly take it. now coming to the eye of the tiger, it is one of the classy places in manipal which provides great ambience, with a fine setup and some good kick-ass rock n roll music. it is a great place to chill with your friends. these are some of the dishes that i've tried from there.

thefoodis decent but it is comparatively pricier than your everyday manipalfoodjoints. while at eye of the tiger, make sure to ask for a pitcher/tower of beer to enhance the vibe.

pretty decent place to hang out , drinks andfoodare on slightly the higher side compared to most of the other joints in manipal.foodwas average. service was quick. outside area is very hot in the summers.

one of the best places in manipal for fine dining experience. though the dishes are a little expensive if compared to other outlets, but thefoodand ambience makes up for it. i've visited this place on multiple occasions including my birthday and was never disappointed.

eye of the tiger is one place where i love to spend money and i go to or order from atleast once every month. my all time favourite dishes are the pesto fish, dilregano fish, the cheese fries, the coffee brownies and the durban bunny chow. i dont like their pastas as much, but their mac and cheese is good. their mocktails and cocktails are something to really try, they're very innovative and interesting, especially the spicy aam ras. they serve great starters and soups (especially, the french onion soup) too. i haven't really tried the salads and the indianfoodthere, but they must be good. also, their dessert with coconut icecream is delicious.
i have tried their sunday buffet lunch too. i didn't like everything there but it was worth the money. they have live counters for eggs and pasta, each.
it is a good place to go for a night when you want to treat yourself or your friends. if your family is in town, you should take them here. it would be worth your time and money.

definitely one of the best place to hangout, eat and drink in manipal. never dissapoints with a good selection offoodand alcohol. definitely recommended!
