great restaurant! the table shared the chicken, bacon, ranchpizzaand a chicken caesar salad. wow! thepizzawas amazing. the crust was definitely made fresh. the salad was enormous and served on a chilled plate (something many restaurants ignore.) the wait staff was attentive. overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. will definitely return to try other items on the menu. oh, i almost forgot the best thing served. the fired ravioli was a masterpiece!

gloing back to pappa murphy's. the food is mediocre and the delivery service is horrendous and inept at best!
when ordering for delivery there is a lot to be desired. when it's pizza, the cheese has flowed all to one side, multiple instances that i've personally experienced. seems when order consist of multiple items, this is to include different kind of pizzas' on same order, there is almost always one of the order items missing and they have to return to your house to fulfill delivery item and if they're busy your wait for them to fix their screw up is well over an hour wait. ordered an $18.00 prime rib blue cheese salad and the blue cheese dressing was delivered in one of the small containers that they deliver the red peppers and parmesan cheese in. freaking really? that's not enough dressing to put on a salad served on a coffee cup saucer. 2 of those incidents happened yesterday 28 december 2014. who ever put that order together must be an idiot to think that much salad dressing would be enough to cover a salad in a container that's 3 inches deep and the size of a dinner plate and on top of that forgot to deliver a second $17.00 salad. will never spend another red cent there again. the mistakes listed above is after paying over $70.00 for the order. used to be frequent customer that spent a lot of money over the years but just have had enough of the extremely poor quality of service. pappa murphy's here i come. service is much better there and thepizzais great!!!!!! since i've lived in the valley probably have spent a few thousand or more there. will urge all of my friends and my wife to order from somewhere else from now on and i live in wasilla, not in anchorage.

if you haven't been there lately...give it try!. stayed away from evangelo's based on previous reviews. maybe they have remodeled...as the décor is beautiful! looks very festive all decked out for christmas. clean and elegant! excellent food, courteous and friendly wait staff. have attended an event and a luncheon meeting. would not hesitate to take family or friends here in the future. terrificpizzaalso. by far the nicest, cleaned, most efficient eating establishment i have been to in the valley, so far and their prices are not bad either.

just get pizza. dated decor, waitstaff that didn't care & just mediocre to lousy food for a premium price. play it safe, just get thepizzathe rest of the menu items were terrible!

pick up orders. don't bother to call in a pick up order unless you want to listen to smarmy country music for 7 minutes before hanging up and going elsewhere for averagepizzaat best...not worth being on hold for...

been eating here for 25 years. so no doubt i like this restaurant. this review may not be very helpful, though, since i only order one thing and one thing only. for 25 years i've eaten nothing but theirpizzawhen i go there. i am apizzaconnoisseur. it is my favorite food. i've tried hundreds of different types of pizza. i know pizza. evangelo's is my favoritepizzai've tried to date. the edge of the crust is at least two inches thick. the flavor is excellent.
now, i've tried my wife's lasagna and it was very good. atmosphere is clean and inviting. hostesses are pretty. parking is not an issue. oh and for those of you wondering what the plexiglass enclosure is at the front door, it's a wind block. wind can rip across that area at 100+mph. very important safety feature.

good pizza. the greekpizzais delicious, i get it every time i'm in the valley.

service was kinda slow and thepizzawas loaded down with toppings. not worth the money. would not come back.

stick to pizza!. goodpizzaand salad all the time. other menu items seem to varie on quality.

wasilla pizza. this is the bestpizzai've had in wasilla. i'm originally from chicago, and although this is different. it is the best in this town. sauce is tasty, crust is ok, if not bready. but if your jones'n for a pizza, you wouldn't go wrong here. price is on par with the rest of the valley, ingredients are ok, service is very good.

one of my favorite places to eat. one of the few restaurants in the valley that leave you feeling better after you eat, not worse.

i've never taken anyone there and not had them walk away satisfied. the dinner entrees are pretty standard in price, and the service has always been extremely courteous and prompt in my experience.

for me, though, the personal highlight has always been the lunch menu sandwiches and most of all, their pizza. i've eatenpizzain many countries, and i still have never had a thick crustpizzathat i've liked as much as theirs. note, it's a big pizza... if you are a fan of the thin crust variety, the moose's tooth is going to be your choice.

finally, evangelos has a relaxing interior - nice enough to where you can dress up and bring your date, and relaxed enough to where you can still show up in casual clothes and not feel uncomfortable.

horrible. for such a fancy exterior it might as well be apizzahut. the food was nothing to write home about, service was horrible and for the cost, they could have taken the crackers out of the packages and managed to find some cloth napkins.
