gloing back to pappa murphy's. the food is mediocre and the delivery service is horrendous and inept at best!
when ordering for delivery there is a lot to be desired. when it's pizza, the cheese has flowed all to one side, multiple instances that i've personally experienced. seems whenorderconsist of multiple items, this is to include different kind of pizzas' on same order, there is almost always one of theorderitems missing and they have to return to your house to fulfill delivery item and if they're busy your wait for them to fix their screw up is well over an hour wait. ordered an $18.00 prime rib blue cheese salad and the blue cheese dressing was delivered in one of the small containers that they deliver the red peppers and parmesan cheese in. freaking really? that's not enough dressing to put on a salad served on a coffee cup saucer. 2 of those incidents happened yesterday 28 december 2014. who ever put thatordertogether must be an idiot to think that much salad dressing would be enough to cover a salad in a container that's 3 inches deep and the size of a dinner plate and on top of that forgot to deliver a second $17.00 salad. will never spend another red cent there again. the mistakes listed above is after paying over $70.00 for the order. used to be frequent customer that spent a lot of money over the years but just have had enough of the extremely poor quality of service. pappa murphy's here i come. service is much better there and the pizza is great!!!!!! since i've lived in the valley probably have spent a few thousand or more there. will urge all of my friends and my wife toorderfrom somewhere else from now on and i live in wasilla, not in anchorage.

better then 5 stars. outstanding food, wonderful wait staff, friendly, nice atmosphere, in town. it is a bit pricy, (compared to where i am from)but when you try your food you will understand. they have pasta, steaks, chicken etc. where i'm from if youordera pasta/seafood dish you look for seafood to eat with your pasta, at evangelo's you look for pasta to eat with your seafood. the amount of seafood you get in your pasta dish is unbelievable and excellent...!! we also ordered their calamari...it is the best i have ever tasted in my entire life. i would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is going to wasilla or any town around there, including anchorage its worth the drive. you have to try it at least once, after that i'm sure you'd go back. i will on my next visit, no questions about it. it surpasses a 5 star rating.

pick up orders. don't bother to call in a pick uporderunless you want to listen to smarmy country music for 7 minutes before hanging up and going elsewhere for average pizza at best...not worth being on hold for...

been eating here for 25 years. so no doubt i like this restaurant. this review may not be very helpful, though, since i onlyorderone thing and one thing only. for 25 years i've eaten nothing but their pizza when i go there. i am a pizza connoisseur. it is my favorite food. i've tried hundreds of different types of pizza. i know pizza. evangelo's is my favorite pizza i've tried to date. the edge of the crust is at least two inches thick. the flavor is excellent.
now, i've tried my wife's lasagna and it was very good. atmosphere is clean and inviting. hostesses are pretty. parking is not an issue. oh and for those of you wondering what the plexiglass enclosure is at the front door, it's a wind block. wind can rip across that area at 100+mph. very important safety feature.

its hit or miss...theres a lot of staff so i think it realy depends on whos working...havent gone in awhile they changed their distributors i think different crackers(used to be my favorite with their salads) and lower quality ingredients now...but i do like their pizza...there are just certain things i wontorderfrom them i d rather just pay a little more and have them deliver to my house...beautifully decorated though....not sure why theres an asian salad at an obviously italian restaurant....

high price, beautiful atmosphere, good food, mediocre service (depending on season). don'torderany type of seafood that comes in a sauce. the seafood magically disappears. one time i ordered some dish of scallops, shrimp and crab in a sauce and found no more than 3 pieces of something in the 5000 calorie ocean of sauce they gave me.

best alfredo in the state!. yes, it's true. this place has the absolute best fettucine alfredo i've had yet here in alaska (and i've tried everyone's). the dinner is a little pricey but the lunch version is reasonable. i have even asked someone who was driving back to anchorage from wasilla to stop by and pick me up a lunchorderof their fettucine alfredo! it's that good! please don't change your recipe!! too bad that once olive garden gets built, evangelo's will come in 2nd place...but i'll save that for another review.
