outstanding restaurant. having read some of these bifurcated reviews, we were nervous about what to expect - but i must tell you - the restaurant was amazing. we are regular guests of some of the best greek restaurants throughout the world - and this place is right up there. service was outstanding, aaron the gm and his 2i.c. sarah were terrific, chris the sommelier was a great credit to the restaurant, perfect service from neil who was extremely knowledgeable; ambience superb and the foodexcellentright round. a definite 9 out 10 in our books and i suggest you try it. better book though - we used opentable.com

a beautiful restaurant situated at the cosmopolitan hotel.excellentambience, the interior was designed with class. friendly waiters with attentive service.

we went for a $29 per person lunch menu (but additional cost applied on a few upgraded dishes i.e the lobster)

the octopus on potato was softly chargrilled and well flavored. the grilled sea bream was quite disappointing, the meat smelled fishy and was very bland. the grilled lamb was cooked just right and nicely spiced. the lobster spaghetti was excellent, chewy pasta blended with a tasty tomato sauce and good portions of lobster meat.

all desserts were pretty average. i was especially disappointed with my fruit platter, it's not even a proper dish, just some fruits arranged on a plate.

if you don't plan to spend supplementary, i highly not recommend going for the $29 lunch menu!

taste: 8/10
presentation: 9/10
service: 10/10
ambience: 10/10
value for money: 8/10

$50 per person (excl alcohol)

food wasexcellentbut service was rushed. all three courses arrived at the table almost simultaneously after specifically stating we were in no rush. next time i will order each course individually to control the pace. a coffee and bailey's cost $20 bucks?!

2011 lunch. the much touted 20.11 lunch at milos. nice space. server seemed awkward, more on that later. first, grilled sourdough bread and good olive oil arrive. we're hopeful.

apps - meze plate is a beautiful presentation, and quite delicious in its 3 different spreads and a chunk of smooth feta. the scallop appetizer holds all of 2 medium/small scallops. ah, ok. the scallops are excellent, but just 2? and the rest of the plate is a meaningless and odd mix of grapefruit slices and raw onions. the plate felt like a toss-off.

main plate -excellentsea bass, great spice and wonderful presentation. shrimp - a whopping 3 small shrimp with tomatoes, a few diced green peppers and a couple of tiny chunks of feta. ah, not so ok. i recognize it's lunch but even if you combine the scallops and shrimp you still have a light main course.

dessert - well, it took 45 minutes from the main plate to the dessert. our waiter looked confused, we could see him checking the order to figure out what happened. there were only 2 desserts available, we got one of each. not too difficult. he also completely forgot my iced tea which never arrived, but also wasn't on the check. a different server also took our payment when it sat too long on the table. luckily it's a nice space and we weren't in a hurry. but the service was seriously lacking.

anyway, when the desserts did arrive, pretty boring. greek yogurt with fruit reduction swirl and a dull walnut cake (again quite small).

so one meal was - great app, nice fish main, dull dessert. the other meal was - tasty but small app, small and dull main, small and dull dessert. that and weak service for $50? not again, there are better lunches to be had in lv.

prix fixe lunch is a must. although the service requires a higher degree of customer management than it should, the quality of the food continues to delight.

the prix fixe lunch is anexcellentand economical way to see what greek food can be. i agree with westie's observation: best lunch on the strip

outstanding greek seafood.. cuttle fish with a risotto incorporating its own ink as an accompaniment was excellent. the lobster and lavrak where top notch. not for the feint of wallet but i was pleasantly surprised when the sommelier recommended a relatively reasonably priced bottle.

the loud and boisterous room is probably not the best choice if you are looking for quiet and romantic.

note: on me second visit i had what were probably the best lamb chops that i ever tasted.

excellent. if you like fresh fish, you will not do better. i believe this is anexcellentrestaurant withexcellentservice, food, and choices. well done. my one little qualm was that the waiter who had been exceptional all evening never returned to the table after i sent in my credit card with the check. i didn't think that was very classy considering the high cost of the meal. but other than that, excellent.

awful experience. a group of 11 of us had our saturday night ruined at estiatorio milos. half of us were greek and were very excited to try vegas's new greek offering. i had eaten at the new york location years ago and rememberexcellentfood and service. we arrived promptly for our 8:30 reservation and were told that our table was in the process of being set up. fifteen minutes later, we had not yet been called and were ignored when we approached the hostess stand. at 9:00 we were again told that our table was being set up. we should have left at this point. numerous other patrons were also complaining about being seated late for their reservations. finally, at 9:30, we were shown to our table, without the slightest apology. someone promptly brought bread to the table, but we didn't even get water or menus until we asked for them over 5 minutes later. this was the trend for the whole dinner. the service was a total disaster. our order was messed up, the food took an eternity and our glasses were often empty. our whole fish and sides were very good, but certainly not worth the hefty price tag. french fries were $15 an order (we needed 3 orders for our table), a greek tomato salad was $27 and tiny!!! the tuna was a good cut and fresh, but very bland. dinner and drinks ended up being about $100 per person. three and a half hours later, we were finished and left with a bad taste in our mouths. no one seemed to be at all concerned about our bad experience in the restaurant.

most memorable dining experience. had a wonderful glass of greek wine upon arriving. it was very well balanced withexcellentacidity went amazing with the food. we then had the milos special which was outstanding, a salad, which was so fresh, some crab cakes (to die for) and for main course we had the lavraki which was baked in a sea salt crust. unbelievable.
