the shut-up-and-give-it-to-me-quick version:

winner.love this place for the appetizers! always consistent and always delicious!

the i-like-to-be-wrapped-up-in-all-the-details version:
i've been coming to fish company (that's what i call it, who has time for such a long name) since before i could talk. honestly, this has been the go to spot for years. back when they had all-you-can-eat crab tuesdays and before they ditched their blender (i'm still very angry about that because they served the best pina coladas) i was here. more often than not my family and i drop in for beer, appetizers and a good time. i love that this place is consistent and the wait is never too crazy. i'm going to just come out and say that if you do anything besides family style i truly don't know what you're doing. being persian and mexican, the only way we know how toeatis family style and even if you order your own dish expect at least 4 other forks to be eating from that plate as well. i love eating this way and if you haven't tried it you're really missing out. my crazy family aside, family style is the way to go here because their appetizers are the real star and it's perfectly okay to get full off of them, so order a lot and share!

best meal in the us yet!. day 1 of us trip: heard via word of mouth that enterprise fish co is amazing & the only place toeataround venice;
day 3 of us trip: spend day bike riding and head straight to the restaurant with our stomachs rumbling.
we were so impressed with the efficient, yet non obtrusive table service, the large airy space, the relaxed atmosphere.
the food was divine. it was served in a timely manner, was well presented & above all, delicious. my mouth is still watering thinking of the garlic clam appetiser.
i recommend enterprise fish co to locals & travellers. amazing.

a few years ago, i convinced my good friend and uber specific red-meat carnivore "lindyhopper" to branch out from 'turf' to 'surf' - starting with sea bass. i was so proud of her when she first tried it, and now there's no looking back (ok, so she still won'teatsashimi, but hey, baby steps...). anyways, now the carnivore and the marinavore caneatat select seafood venues together, and for dinela i decided to join her and a group of her friends at enterprise fish co. for their advertised "2lb live maine lobster", as part of a three-course prix fixe for $34! located on the far edge of santa monica, bordering venice, enterprise fish co is a standalone on a small side street off of main. it's a casual dining space with a bar that offers seafood lovers on a budget a relaxed atmosphere to grub - a bit more upscale than red lobster, and much more laid back than mccormick and schmick's. enterprise is a place for a rowdy happy hour, which runs mondays to fridays 4-7pm and sundays 8-10pm at t
