emily's - the rokeby manor

rokeby is known for its mesmerising view, which makes it a must visit place for all the travellers! we had placed an order for spinach ravioli, roasted pumpkin salad, olive and sun dried naanza and paneer tikka! the reviews are:
spinach ravioli: the ravioli tasted superb and for me its a must try dish for all thepastalovers! we got the same customised to a mix sauce one and it was delicious! i would really give it a five star rating!
salad: the salad was okayish! you can avoid ordering the same! it was sweet in taste, and the portion size was also small!
paneer tikka: the tikka was roasted perfectly with proper spices! it was really good and i would recommend it to the people who love north indian food!
naanza: for me the naanza was a spoiler! it was flooded with cheese and since the same is on a naan, it did not go well with the taste buds! you can probably avoid ordering the same and try out some other dish!
overall, emily’s is a place to enjoy the ambience and have a nice family time! so here the food is a secondary thing and it’s a must visit place to have a good time with a wonderful view

very average restaurant according to me. the cost makes it seem like a fine dining place. but the food does not do justice to the price. the gourmet burger was anything but gourmet. very meagre portion size and the patty wasn’t good either. scanty filling inside the burger. tried shepherds pie as well. the cheesy mashed potato did not have good consistency (very watery) and the minced lamb was also pathetic, more gravy and very less meat. would not recommend.pastawas alright.
overall, a total let down

we had great expectations from this place. but found it to be overrated. burger was below average. it didn't have any patty. khau suey was also very average and may be avoided.we tried a local uttarakhandi dish of sarso ki kapli with mandua ki roti. it was average. mezze platter had 3 dips with bread & falafel. however there were no cucumber, onion, tomato like veggies. so that was like a bread/falafel & dip and not proper mezze platter. that was what not to order. now i will tell you what to order - arabiatta saucepastawas good. mushroom stroganoff was the best dish for us. pesto spagetti was good. but only those who like pesto sauce may order else may avoid. peach iced tea & hot chocolate are very good. if you order the right items, the experience will be good. else you may be disappointed. cost is about 800 per person.

lovely decor. it's an amazing place to dine with family. food is good. loved thepastaand chicken. upto the mark. service was quick and good. a place you must visit if you go to landour for the beautiful interior.

the place is very beautiful with a lovely seeting. firstly i was served with fresh basket of bread and butter like authentic italian restaurant. than i ordered pesto pennepastawith chicken . it was by far one of the bestpastai had . i ordered thepastatwice as i loved it and also had ginger honey lemon tea which was also good

i visited this restaurant exactly a month back to celebrate a special occasion. since it was a weekend and landour was pretty crowded we had pre-booked the table that afternoon itself. also, we had requested for decorating the table. we reached few minutes early than the booking time so we were asked to wait while the table was getting ready which turned out to be quite disappointing. they had just provided us an led candle for the decoration part. we ordered pasta, pita bread and hummus. the food was good.pastawas a little dry so we asked the chef to customize it a little. we would have loved to have some wine for the celebration but sadly the place didnt serve any liquor.the staff was nice and polite otherwise and clicked us a few good pictures.

this colonial style old world charm restaurant in landour is a must visit i must say.

the food, the views, the service and the experience is just exceptional.

we dined here on our anniversary eve and on our last minute and special request, we were given special attention and all the support the staff could.

we ordered the mutton soup, hummus with pita and siciliana pasta. thepastawas even made to our taste and liking.

this is a must visit restaurant when in landour.

it a very cutely made restuarant with a cozy feeing to it. it has a small outdoor sitting . i wish they had more seating available as it gets very busy. i like their pepper pizza and the alfredopastathe most.

whenever we go to mussorie this place is a must we always go to emily’s at rokeby manor

there you must try there italian food , risotto andpasta

there indian food is also amazing specially cheese naan , butter chicken and dal makhani

the only downside to this place is the road and the climb you have to make to reach this place overall fun and adventurous experience

4stars because they can improve still there food and service and this place close by 10pm

worth a visit if your in mussoorie for a vacation or stay there
