as a fan of stephen starr i am always inlovewith his unique restaurants. the guacamole is delicious and freshly prepared before you, the place is colorful and comfortable, and the food is delicious. the churros were excellent and not greasy while the chipotle tacos were spicy and tasty. if in philly, definitely hit up el vez

blood orange margaritas? sold! delicious! great food, great location.lovethe different options for guacamole. interesting decor and bar.

we had a work lunch here last week and the food was served family style. the veggie enchiladas were great. i alwayslovethe chips and salsa, mainly because their salsa verde us so good.

always wanted to try here being ilovemexican & had heard so much finally made it for lunch but wasn't really impressed with the food especially for the cost. had the enchiladas mixas which were just okay additionally what mexican restaurant doesn't give you tortilla chips with salsa here you have to purchase them. the inside is very hip & fun, service pleasant being it was a weekday afternoon so didn't try the margaritas.

love the bicycle andloveel vez!  i have been here more than five times in the past three months while in philly on business.  this is not your typical mexican cuisine, it's just plan awesome.  from the el ve burger, oxtail enchiladas and huevos rancheros, it's all good.  especially enjoy the guacamole and grilled corn on the cob.  they also have a very nice selection of drinks, try them all.  highly recommend el vez, y'all won't be disappointed.

yummy!!!. great place, interesting decor, awesome food!!! welovethe guacamole with ahi tuna- fantastic. the braised short ribs simply melt in your mouth!!! and tequila, lots of tequila!!

go for the guac!. man, ilovethis place and i've never been disappointed! the guacamole is amazing and a popular appetizer. the macho nachos are a nice spin off the traditional nacho appetizer. great environment! if you are planning to eat dinner there, you may want to call ahead with reservations, or else you may end up sitting at the bar!
