best in the city!. if you want real good mexicanelpueblo is the way to go! it's the only place i eat mexican anymore. i'm in college and when i come home this is the first place the i have to eat! i literally crave this while i'm away! their chips and salsa are so good you could fill up on just those and the servers place it at your table sometimes before you can even sit down. the service is great and the feeling when you walk in is very family oriented. 86 with chicken is my alltime favorite...sometimes the whole family orders it the same night, it's so good. the melted chees over the top and the spicy chicken is to die for! you can't go here without getting a margarita (they are delicious) or a pacifico. they always have coupons which my mom loves and the prices are reasonable. love love love love love!!!!

i don't know who tammy is that said the food is horrible atelpueblo, but she obviously has no taste or experience with this amazing, authentic and very friendly mexican restaurant. my family and i frequentelpueblo at least twice a month and the service is always wonderful, the food incredible, and the environment fun and perfect for a family dinner or a friend get together. the staff has become like family. i couldn't imagine anyone saying an unkind word about this place! we love youelpueblo and we'll be coming back soon!

authentic, friendly, fun and our favorite place to eat! having lived in new mexico, our family has been long searching for a place likeelpueblo. in other words, we were looking for something that truly tasted or even resembled the delicious fare we remembered.elpueblo not only proves that real mexican food can be found in cincinnati, with it's expansive menu options and addicting homemade chips and salsa, it has truly become the one place our whole family loves to gather, and on a very regular basis! the staff makes you feel at home and oh-so-welcome, too.elpueblo is the place we've been searching for, a place of laughter, great service and unbelievably tasty food -- the kind you never forget!

authentic mexican restaurants can be hard to come by. that'€™s why i'€™ve been particularly interested in tryingelpueblo since i worked in blue ash last fall. the story goes that two brothers startedelpueblo after training in the kitchen and front of the house of other mexican restaurants.

good chips. thats it. my mom and i went toelpueblo for dinner. i noticed a lot of people like it here on urbanspoon. my mom also heard they had great margaritas. so we went and there was a bunch of people. we could of been seated sooner if we ate outside, but my mom wanted to eat inside. so we were seated and got chips right away. i pored the salsa in the bowl ate a plain chip, then another then another. then i tried one with sauce then another then another. i looked threw the menu, its pretty big. so i decided to get the birria barbacoa estilo jalisco, not knowing my mom was ordering it also. so we both didnt like it at all. the meat reminded me of skyline. the sauce was really watery, the beans had little flavor and the rice was bad. so. we're not going back

there seems to be more and more mexican restaurants popping up around the area, but my go-to iselpueblo in blue ash. first of all, always check the reach magazine. there is almost always a coupon in there forelpueblo that you might as well take with you. we went up here on a recent friday night when it was kind of warm but not warm enough to sit outside. the restaurant was packed and therefore, pretty loud. this didn't bother us though. we put our name in and headed to the bar. i started with a frozen strawberry margarita and my husband got a dos equis ambar. both drinks kept us busy while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. while we waited, a server gladly brought us a basket of chips and salsa to snack on. for it being a friday evening, and for how crowded it was, we were seated pretty quickly considering we had a party of 9. i would guess we waited no more than 20 minutes. the menu can be a little intimidating at first, but i would say

loud!. the food is good but i hate the interior of this place. it is a small square room packed full of people and seams dirty. used to be a pizza hut. the noise and smells just reflect off the walls it seems and almost makes it unbearable. you smell like an onion enchilada when you leave there as well. not as bad in the summer when you can at least sit outside. the food is better than most other local mexican places though, but i think i will wait until summer to eat there again if i ever do. have started to go toelrancho grande by the kenwood mall instead as the restaurant is much nicer and food is the same..

best mex in cincinnati. i love good tex-mex and cincinnati has seen a number of mexican restaurant openings in recent years.elpueblo, located in what was obviously (from its distinctive building style) once a pizza hut location, is my favorite. the menu features all kinds of fresh, expertly seasoned favorites and service is always fast and friendly. no matter how busy they are at lunch time, they always have a table and make time to make you feel welcome.

el pueblo is located "off the main drag," near but not in blue ash's central business district, but it is well worth taking the time to find.

very good!. after quite a few delays we finally got out toelpueblo. definitely worth it! the menu is very well rounded and the food and service were both excellent. my only complaint was the acoustics, something which i've grown more and more sensitive to through the years. when the dining area was full it was very difficult to converse. but that is a relatively minor complaint.

we shared a queso fundido with chorizo - excellent. i had the chimis and companion had fajitas. both were very well prepared, delicious and well presented - though the fajitas seem to be problematic for the smoke detector :) the texas margis were very tasty and well priced.

in all it was an excellent outing - tasty food and attentive service from vincente.

excellent -- definitely among the best. first visit toelpueblo today. place was packed for friday lunch, but service was perfect. salsa was very good, and different from what i've had at other restaurants. went with a couple ofelrancho grande devotees who both agreed the food was very good despite their expectations that it wouldn't come close to their favorite.

i had the tacos al chencho, which were one of the best mexican dishes i've ever had, and i've had a lot. admittedly, i was hesitant when i saw feta cheese as one of the ingredients, but that uncertainty absolutely disappeared with the first bite. one of those that really catches you by surprise. outstanding, rich unique taste. presentation, portion and temperature were all perfect. the price was a steal. unbelievable value.

i will definitely be back. my wife is a big fan of fish tacos, but has been unable to find good ones here in cincinnati since la salsa left. fingers crossed thatelpueblo can deliver those for her in the same way they won me over.

top of its game!.elpueblo is a favorite lunch and dinner spot for my wife and i. like many mexican establishments that cater to an american palate their menu is a nod to the authentic. "authentic" however is widely used to describe latin fare north of the border and has become a bit of a misnomer. "authentic" latin cuisine is a vibrant mix of textures and flavors that, like the culture, offer a hearty ole'. unfortunately for us gringo's what most serve up is dull and lifeless. factory made tortillas, pasty beans and processed cheese does not authentic make!

thankfullyelpueblo is part of a distinct but growing few that allow authentic latin flavors an expanded role in their dishes. americans undergoing a culinary renaissance are more discriminating nowadays and respond in kind. add a friendly attentive staff and one can easily see how a somewhat off the beaten path mexican place has prospered and continues to grow its clientele. enjoy!

best mexican around. my husband and i have been going toelpueblo for years now and have never been disappointed. we have watched it grow in popularity and become one of the most popular restaurants in blue ash. although we have to wait a few minutes now when we go in, we are so happy to see it doing well. the owner, sammy, couldn't be nicer and always takes time to come over and say hello when we're in. this has always been one of our favorites and always will be.
