great carne asada, but over cooked unless you go with rare. someone said to get tips from el cholo? elcholois a joke, horrible bland food that is way too overpriced. i can't even believe anyone would call elcholoauthentic, unless you mean authentically commercialized to be palatable to caucasian patrons. nope. you want incredibly authentic, go to a taco truck or a hole in the wall place in east la. you want fairly good, with a nice sit down atmosphere comfortable enough for a date or family meal? go here. service at elcholois awful and takes forever and oh yeah did i mention, over priced?!
