great carne asada, but over cooked unless you go with rare. someone said to get tips from el cholo? el cholo is a joke, horrible bland food that is way too overpriced. i can't even believe anyone would call el cholo authentic, unless you mean authentically commercialized to be palatable to caucasian patrons. nope. you want incredibly authentic, go to a taco truck or a hole in the wall place in east la. you want fairly good, with a nice sit downatmospherecomfortable enough for a date or family meal? go here. service at el cholo is awful and takes forever and oh yeah did i mention, over priced?!
