no matter where you are in the world, after few days of relishing local cuisine, there comes a point when you start craving for familiar flavors — something homebound! well, with i̇stanbul's indian pride — the dubb restaurant — you are in excellent hands. attracting not just indian travelers, you can find many international ones and even local turks indulging in the indian delicacies served here. bite in to the streetfoodcomprising delicious pakoras, samosas, kebabs and tikkas or the evergreen dal makhani, palak paneer or butter chicken, the menu leaves you asking for more. craving desserts? worry not, for they have the sweet tooth well-covered with kesar firni, kulfi, ras malai, gulab jamum and gajar ka halwa. all this is certain to just leave you longing for more!

i have been to this restaurant for indian lunch. we have ordered channa masala n roti but unfortunately turkish guy placed two order 1 for veg thali n other for channa masala roti. he argued for a while n after that they never serve us onion. we didn't expect such hospitality from this restaurant. they should confirm order before processing it.foodquality good n quantity is also good (4 people can easily eat) indian chef is friendly. good for indian tourist.

this was my first visit to this famous indian resturant in a lovely location in istanbul. the first thing that catches your attention is the outstanding panoramic view...it’s breath taking. thefoodis very standard and nothing stands out, i must say. it’s certainly not as spicy as you would expect in authentic indian restaurants, so clearly the chef wants to cater for local taste. we had the mixed grills, which was good, but again i missed the indian tandoor flavor and felt was too lebanese for my taste. i would give the place 5 out of 5 for ambience and views and 3/5 on food

goodfood, good taste . as compared to other options in istanbul ( out of 5 tried) this was the best restaurant offering indian menu. do inform the hef prior to cook spicyfoodelse expect a little european touch.

awesome food, best i have eaten in istanbul so far! the quality and taste offoodwas bang on. the appetisers were delicious n i liked samosas the best. chicken 65 was equally well cooked. the view is like the cherry on the cake. will be going again soon for sure!

one of the best indianfoodi have had in istanbul. i have eaten in both of their outlets and i find this one better. and yes view from here is mind blowing.

staff is also nice but a bit slow.

food is decent. but they add too much cream in every dish.
it's best to ask them to put less cream and make thefooda little spicy to get a better flavour profile from the dishes.

overall not a bad place and good to visit if you're really craving indian food

food: really great. i think they have a great cook

service: very inefficient and unprofessional. did not know how to serve a bottle of wine, staff often engage in talks and gossip with each other and simply ignore the tables. they even go as further as going to the balcony as a group and a have their chat there.

hostess: could not believe what i had to see twice. hostess goes and takes a bottle of a water. drinks a bit directly from the bottle, gargles the water then spitting the water on one of the plants at the entrance of the restaurant. this happed twice right in front of my eyes. she engaged the water bottle for a third time, drinking from the bottle when i engaged her from a distance while she still had water in her mouth ? just opened my arms from a distance saying she should do whatever she's doing at the wc which is right around the corner.

prices are way too high as well and the wine menu is very expensive and lacks good choice. i am ok to pay a little extra for indianfoodbut a better balance needs to be considered with many competing restaurants in istanbul.

35 tl valet parking service charge at hilton is simply unacceptable for istanbul standards. parking yourself at the hilton parking garage is only 5 tl diffeent....

it is clear that the restaurant is not performing well at all. counted 5 tables on a saturday. it is a pity if they don't act together we'll lose one of the most decent indianfoodoutlets soon enough. ( maybe it's too late already). the sabotage behavior of the staff needs to be stopped and maybe a better marketing of the place is needed to attract new guests. it is a shame how this place is, considering the nice decor, great bosphorus views and excellent food. i would love to have a chat with the owner constructive criticism so they get their act together before it's too late...

service is slow, prices double then in zomato menue.foodvery average. 160tl minimum /person which is very expensive for turkey and for that kind of food. only the view is great

a true 5 star experience.would recommand lamb kebabs.

great place with tasty menu and splendid view.foodneither too hot nor too spicy, which is a common mistake of many indian restaurants. start with crunchy aloo chat (potatoes with avocado) samosa ange chicken 65, continue with lamb (mutin chump masala) or vegetable curry. great find altogether.

beautiful ambience with tasty indian food. loved the hospitality.foodwas authentically indian and chef was very kind, replaced my order immediately on wrong preparation. view from balcony towards bosphorous, green gardens with happening places on ground and football stadium is amazing
