my favorite. dragon fort ill admit is better to returning customers. my boyfriend and i order from & go into therestaurantatleast twice a week.. the food is always fresh, large portions, and they know just what we like.. we have never had a problem there. a little above average price.. and sometimes therestaurantcan be really busy.. which the service tends to slip a little..

if your really picky with food, tell them that.. say you want it fresh and it will be.. they are sticklers with altering orders and sauces, they will attempt to ding you, be warned

dragon fort has always been my favorite chineserestaurantin abbotsford, but i've noticed the last few times the flavors have not been the same. i hope this isn't a trend.

first time at a chineserestaurantin abbotsford. i chose this place mainly because its review is a tad higher than the rest and the food served looks authentic. thisrestaurantis located towards the eastern part of abbotsford. ample parking spots. i was services promptly and offered a seat. when i looked disappointed at the location of the seating, the server came back and offered me a better location several mins later. good customer service!
the prices are acceptable and the variety is also quite good given that this is technically not vancouver. i ordered the yangzhou fried rice and chicken fried rice noodles and also a small order of the wonton soup. the wonton soup had 12 wontons and portion was quite large even for the smallest order. all in all this is a descent chinese restaurant.

dragon fort restaurant is known as one of the best places for chinese food in abbotsford, so we would go there from time to time.  it’s a casual chinese eatery serving cantonese and szechuan dishes but mostly caters to locals.  the portions are huge for the price and the taste is reasonable for a chineserestaurantoutside of metro vancouver.

excellent american style chinese food! has a variety of items, and a few surprises, too. located in an interesting building that looks like a castle; on one side is therestaurantproper, whilst on the other side there appears to be a banquet hall. has it's own parking lot reached by moving through a gate and between therestaurantand the banquet hall.

food is stale and dry. first ordered from here a couple years ago and it was pretty good... ordered from here more recently and as other reviewers have said (on other review sites) the food tasted like it was old and stale.
we ordered the lemon chicken, steamed rice, sweet and sour pork and more. all of the food was hard and dry and tasted like it was cooked the night before and reheated.
couldn't even chew the food let alone eat it the next day... its also over priced for the amount and quality of food. since this bad experience we've since found a much better and cheaperrestaurantthong la's in a plaza located near south fraser way and clearbrook.

avoid dragon fort if you can!

ate at therestaurant3 weeks ago and thought it was good. just ordered a takeaway and think it tastes like dog food. sweet and sour pork is neither, chow mein is soggy and overcooked and the chicken tastes unhappy. would post a pic if i could to show you how nasty it is...

good food. the reviews on thisrestaurantwere not favourable but on our first visit we did not find these reviews to be true. service was good and fast, lots of food and really tasty. based on one visit i would recommend this restaurant

refreshing selection. this place is such a treat for a vegetarian in the valley - there's a few more options on the menu than most western-style chinese food places. the food has always been fresh, and the portions have been huge (typical of most chinese food places). the service hasn't always been awesome, although the staff were very accomodating and totally made up for mixing up an order once! i think it's comparable to any other western chinese foodrestaurantand its worth trying - especially if you'd like to indulge in a meat-free option with guilt-ridden sweet and sour sauce :)

eyucckkkkkkk. on christmas eve (2011) we ordered from here about 5:20pm and were told that it would be read for pick up at 6:30p so we went to pick it up. i understand that it was a holiday and a busy night for them but we ended up standing there in a crowd of people for another hour with the rest of our poor hungry family waiting and wondering what happened to us at home. when we were eating the food later my sister pulled a wad of chewed green gum out of her fried rice. yuuuuuummmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!! so when we went back to therestaurantthe next day the management basically told us that they don't chew gum there and if they do they get fired. they refused to take responsibility and shooed us away. i was sooooooo angry and disgusted with the service and food. i can definately say that i will not be returning to "the fort" for a loooooooooong time. have fun if you choose this place. maybe you'll get pink gum!

tasty & generous. although thisrestauranthardly looks asian inside the food is pretty decent. although catering mainly to western tastes, thisrestaurantdoes offer some familiar dishes that i had when visiting asia. the price was good and portions were large making it a good place for a tasty meal.

used to be the best. i once thought of thisrestaurantas being one of the best of it's kind. sadly, the quality has been going downhill over the past year or so. where the chicken balls were once without equal, they are now little more than tiny bits of tough chicken surrounded by far too much batter.

the sweet sauces seem to be more about high sugar content as opposed to the once pronounced taste of sheer splendor. i'm not sure what is happening, but one can only hope the menu is returned to the heights of excellence of (sadly) yesteryear.
