wonderful as always. we were back to the loft to celebrate 4 birthdays (including mine) and an anniversary. they food was excellent!! the staff could not have been nicer. gina made certain that we were well taken care of! still my favorite restaurant in columbus! not sure about the complaints about the prices. most entrees are $15 - $20. the specials are more expensive. still the best value for the money that i have found in columbus. we always go early to avoid the rush! obviously, i am not the only person that has discovered this gem of a restaurant as they are always busy.

large group, excellent food and service.. we had ~20 people as we were celebrating a birthday. they did a great job setting up the back room with the seating in a horseshoe pattern. the food was wonderful and paul was a supurb server. we went as soon as they opened. this is our favorite place to eat for 'special occassion' dining as it is a little more expensive than a lot of restaurants. however, i expect to pay more for the quality of food and service at the loft. i had a groupon and tried buckhead bar and grille and was so dissapointed in the experience. over $100 for a meal for 2 with i drink and 1 dessert. nothing has beat the loft in my columbus dining experiences!!

excellent as always. we went back to the loft and took 3 friends to celebrate a birthday. we always go early before they get crowded. we have never had a bad dining experience there. my husband love the fish because it is always cooked properly and never overcooked. i had the lobster ravioli which was very tasty however the shrimp were a little salty. the homemade chips and onion dip are very tasty. the manager (gina) remembered us from previous visits. i discussed the shrimp with her and, hopefully, it will be addressed. that is the only issue that i have ever had with anything that i've had there. we don't go as often as other places as it is a little pricier than other places. however, we will continue to dine there for special occasions. we also tried buckhead bar and grill and that was way overpriced for the quality and selection. since we have a group that regularly goes out every week, we can't afford the loft every week but it is a favorite for special occasions. the loft is worth the price for the quality and quantity of the food. oh, try the chocolate lava cake for dessert. yummy!! i wonder if the people that have had problems and bad dining experiences are going when they are at capacity when more problems are likely to occur

best food in columbus. we went here for the 3rd time with a group of ~ 16 people. the service was wonderful. the food was fantastic! still my favorite restaurant. we will be going back!

excellent. this restaurant had the best food of anywhere that i have eaten in columbus. there were 5 of us dining together. we had tempura mushrooms, buffalo wings, cajun crab and shrimp and shrimp tacos as appetizers. for entrees, we had the grilled salmon & artichokes, herb crusted pork chop (x 2), the grouper & crab cake special and a shrimp and pasta. we tasted each other's and everything was wonderful. our waiter was great, offered advice when asked and made sure we had beverage refills. our food was delivered promptly but we didn't feel rushed. the loft is in the midst of updating their menu. we will definitively return. i cannot say enoughgoodthings about the food and the service. the manager was visiting tables, introducing herself and making sure everyone was enjoying their dinner. we did not opt for dessert but we saw a huge piece of chocolate cake delivered to a neighboring table. i did a walk by the dessert cooler and they all looked great.
