don't waste your money!. my husband and i were really looking forward to this dinner/show, and were we ever disappointed. it was the most money we spent for dinner while on vacation. theshowwas cheezy and depended a good deal on audience participation. the horses were beautiful and well trained, and the riders were excellent. the wait staff doubled as singers, and never missed a beat. as wonderful as this part of theshowwas, the food was awful. the soup had no flavor, the chicken was dry, the thick slice of potato was hard and also had no flavor and the sweet tea was powdered. i didn't even know that there was such a thing as powdered tea. it was terrible. my husband had coffee, and he said it was instant and just plain nasty. our favorite part of theshowwas when our waiter brought us a warm, wet towlette to clean our hands with (no silverware) and when theshowwas over and we could escape. spoiler alert - at the end of the show, the cast comes out and their clothes light up. my husband started humming "like a rhinesone cowboy" when we got to the parking lot. i really thought something with dolly parton's name attached to it would be top notch. by the time we bought the tickets, had stale peanuts and a non-alcoholic drink in the saloon, and tipped the waiter, our night out for two people cost over $100.00. save your money. don't go.
