it is not only the entire chicken and glass of tea that you get; it is the awesomeshowthat you experience. i have loved this place very much. everything about it is special and fun and absolutely entertaining.

the food and service was good.  pre-show bar attendants could do a better job.  horrible seats for dinner show.  we were in section a1, so i thought we had good seats.  upon arrival, we were seated at the extreme far end of the arena.  we could not see anything going on in the center...which is where the entireshowis.  could only see the back of any characters.  you would think that if you spend over $300, you would be able to see the show.  very disappointing and very expensive.

theshowwas good and very family oriented... good quality fun with dolly!! the food was better than i expected... chicken was tender and i absolutely loved the soup ... it's creamy and delicious!! the only complaint is the seats are small and you don't have much room!

not for picky eaters. first off we lovedshowand meal but not especially a favorite for kids that are picky eaters. do you know many children that would eat a large turnover, white soup ( or any for that matter) and a whole cornish hen? i would suggest for the price charged that chicken nuggets, corn on the cob, and a cookie would be more appropriate. our grandson's entire meal was dedicated to the trash can. what a waste of good food! come on dolly change is good!!!!!!

couldn't have been better!. we absolutely loved this show! even my very critical husband loved theshowas well as the food and the coffee was the best we've had in branson so far (apparently, all of branson makes weak coffee). my 3 year old had his eyes glued to the performers and was well behaved from the beginning of the pre-show to the end of the main performance. i personally loved dolly's televised address! we are from chicago and have attended many professional performances. thisshowwas top-notch. will definitely see it again the next time we are in town.

don't waste your money!. my husband and i were really looking forward to this dinner/show, and were we ever disappointed. it was the most money we spent for dinner while on vacation. theshowwas cheezy and depended a good deal on audience participation. the horses were beautiful and well trained, and the riders were excellent. the wait staff doubled as singers, and never missed a beat. as wonderful as this part of theshowwas, the food was awful. the soup had no flavor, the chicken was dry, the thick slice of potato was hard and also had no flavor and the sweet tea was powdered. i didn't even know that there was such a thing as powdered tea. it was terrible. my husband had coffee, and he said it was instant and just plain nasty. our favorite part of theshowwas when our waiter brought us a warm, wet towlette to clean our hands with (no silverware) and when theshowwas over and we could escape. spoiler alert - at the end of the show, the cast comes out and their clothes light up. my husband started humming "like a rhinesone cowboy" when we got to the parking lot. i really thought something with dolly parton's name attached to it would be top notch. by the time we bought the tickets, had stale peanuts and a non-alcoholic drink in the saloon, and tipped the waiter, our night out for two people cost over $100.00. save your money. don't go.

sorry dolly; not for me. to me, it wasn't worth the money. the soup and pork tenderloin was good, but not a whole lot of taste for the rest. theshowitself, sadly, wasn't at all what i was expecting and tended to focus as much on audience participation as the horse and rodeo tricks.

very sad. it felt like the sameshowi saw 20+ years ago at myrtle beach, sc. they advertise unlimited refills of pepsi. we were given one refill. the pepsi was flat. very flat. we were not offered coffee. the potato was room temperature and tasted like it had been cooked 3 days prior and let set out. chicken was at least hot, but only given one tiny napkin and when eating greasy chicken with your fingers you need more than one napkin. salt and pepper would have been nice too. just a big disappointment for the money.

gluten free folks, please read. i have a mixed review. loved theshowand atmosphere. my family was very happy with their meals. the one disappointment was with my gluten free meal. i was so excited to see that they offered a gluten free meal! but what they really mean is that you don't get the parts that have gluten. no bread, no soup, no desert. the rest of my meal was also a disappointment. it appeared to have been microwaved. the potatoe was rubbery, the pork as well and the chicken was okay. nothing was seasoned at all. now, i understand that their normal seasoning probably contained gluten, but they could have used a little salt and pepper at least. no gluten free bread , okay, but not even a scoop of ice cream offered for dessert . i was so disappointed and then i thought of all the children with celiac and thought how they must feel watching siblings gobble down dessert in front of them. hopefully they have parents who are prepared. i really do appreciate the effort but i feel that for the price of a ticket, they could do so much better!
