dolly parton's dixie stampede dinner & show

actually really like this. even though i've been raised in the south, i'm not a "country" person at all. i have to say though, the dixie stampede brings out a little bit of country in everyone! it is a fun and cute show, and the food is so good. i've gone several times since pigeon forge isn't that far away from knoxville, and every time the show is a little different. i always look forward to the food. the soup is so good! i just love the little country meal. it is quite nice.

first off i attended the christmas show and i will say i enjoyed it an would recommend it to other families. my wife and kids (6 and 8) enjoyed it as well. now i wouldn't call the food "good" though. it's not bad either. it's just there and adequate for this type of dinner show. it's very similar to medieval times, although food was better and show better as well. the christmas show served up cream veg soup, a whole corneish hen, pork loin, half a potato and a apple turnover. one downside was not alcohol but it was a family event. performers were good. music in the pre show was very good. if staying around the tackiness that is pigeon forge you won't be disappointed by this dinner show. it was cheesy good fun for the whole family. don't go expecting "good food". it will be descent, you will eat with your hands and the show will be good clean family fun. dolly knows how to do a good cheesy western dinner show.

this was the christmas show which my husband and i thought was cheesy for adults. i guess u can say that if u saw the dixie stampde once u have no reason to see it again.

awesome dinner and show!! well worth the price!! our two year old son loved the show as well! we've never seen him so excited!!!

great food great service great show steve the waiter was awesome just don't order a drink in the preshow. unless you want the $4 cup

it was a ton of fun! best chicken i have ever had. 2 things to remember: 1. make sure to get you tickets ahead of time for the 6:00 show. 2. no silverware, so if you need take your own.

a fun family night out. other reviewers have said the food was good, and it was. but you need to be aware it is all finger food. they do not provide you with any silverware. i would have liked a fork to tear the chicken with ... but maybe that's just me.

also, the lighting is dimmed, which makes for a nice theatrical atmosphere, but makes it impossible to see which packet of sugar/sweetner is which ("is this splenda? or equal? let's surprise ourselves!") it also makes it tough to see what you're eating, so if you have allergies, ask the server what s/he is bringing you. i will say that the servers have their jobs down to a science! they are fast.

the entertainment was fun and energetic, but for me, it was a one-time choice. i probably will not return but i also will not dissuade others from going by criticizing this place.

great fun. dixie stampede is a great place for the family, it's really good food, the staff are very helpful and the show is super. you all got to try this!

food quality was good, and more than most would eat. the price includes the show which is imteresting and pleasurable
