d'lights cafe

so expensive, $23 for eggs benedict $30 for a chicken ceaser, with no table service. get your own water & cutlery. girl that served me when i ordered at the counter was nice, but for these prices they need tableserviceand more effort from the kitchen on the food and presentation. view is really nice. coffee was good.

i've been to d'lights a few times recently and i cant fault anything, theserviceis amazing with both food and drinks coming out quickly and being delicious. the staff are also super friendly. the new owners are doing a great job!

reason we love it... big breakky and a strong well made coffee for under $20! did i mention their breakfast sausage? well if you love them d’lights probably have the most delicious breakfast sausage i’ve had ever!

theirserviceis always prime, with a smile and always super fast. not to mention the location... on the jetty in a peaceful location with amazing views. i’m yet to doubt d’lights they really are a personal fave and we will continue to chase their awesome sausage 😜

gluten free, dairy free and allergy free foods available on menu or simply by asking the staff. menu is all day breakfast aswell as a day menu, ice cream, coffee, shakes, tea and ice cream.

did brekkie this morning with a group. love the big brekkie here. loads of everything... bacon and mushies and tomato and eggs your way. the pork sausage is wonderful. greatservicetoo. some might think $23 is pricey but for what you get, i think it's good value.

as an oldie i'm new to this game of restaurant reviews and after finding urbanspoon for the first time decided to look up somewhere nice for our visit to mandurah. the previous comments for d'lights cafe piqued my curiosity, especially chick 12 who seems to be vehemently defending "new owners" whilst denigrating "old owners". strange i thought because someone created a business that was saleable & reputable if other comments are to be believed.
so, i'm sad to say my experience here was not pleasant. for such a pretty spot to eat i really expected something new & exciting in the way of food &serviceand was completely let down on both scores. we had a sandwich of stale bread and a burger with chips, burger bun also stale & hard. we tried to let our feelings be known to the person who served us, but got the response "i'll let the kitchen know". hopefully that helped the next customer but did nothing for my wife & i who walked away feeling hungry after paying top dollar for a below par meal that was i edible. i'll also add that it was sunday but not a long weekend. altogether a very disappointing experience. perhaps chick12 should take a hint from genuinely unhappy customers instead of making excuses.

i love the homestyle food! big serves & great coffee. such lovelyservicetoo. child friendly. we enjoy dining in this relaxed cafe by the water, then heading to the kids park over the bridge.

me and my partner had breakfast here. we were greeted by smiling faces and grabbed a table outside over looking the marina. no tableservicewas a bummer but once finding the pay counter, i must have got this girls frist day as my partner wanted bacon and eggs - didnt ask how the eggs wanted to be cooked and i ordered the eggs florentine- she put through the order times 100 hence giving us a bill of over 1600 haha once i sorted that out the coffees came quickly but where burnt and bitter. the food came in reasonable time but the toast was not cooked and the sauce was cold. we ate, didnt finish the coffee and left. i guess all in all goodservicebut needs an improvement with the food

used to be a favourite for breakfast butservicehas gone downhill. possibly new owners(???) if so maybe they need to speak to the old owners who ran a great little cafe. let's hope you find your feet soon. i miss my eggs benedict!

had a wonderful breakfast great value. theservicewas fast and warm and attentive quite possibly the best breakfast in mandurah.
