i've been here a few times... for breakfast and dinner. their food is reasonably priced and tastes good. although their tea and coffee is always luke warm. theserviceis very slow. and i can never find a clean table when i arrive there. i don't think they have enough waiters. not the greatest restaurant but if you're on a budget it's good enough.

we went on a wednesday evening, the portions were decent, the specials were well worth it and theservicewas great, i will definitely recommend die wit huis

possibly loosely referring to the white house in america it was the residence of former president paul kruger's wife gezina. the venue seams like it has a lot of potential especially with the rich heritage but it's somehow not as well emphasized as i would like. the outside area needs a bit of landscaping and with a little bit of design flair one could turn it into an exciting space for after work drinks.
we had a few beers and shared a build your own basket. now i'm no german but i'm reasonably sure what things were called on the menu and what we received was not the same thing but it was just a few guys so it didn't really matter that much and at least theservicewas friendly.
i've heard the sunday buffet is a hit but not being a buffet fan i'd never know.
