deep deuce grill

the food is standard pub food. the portions are on the larger side and are greasy. it's a popular place to drink and watch the thunder. my issue with the place is no bar menu! no pricing! no specialty cocktails/drinks. everytime we have gone there our bill is much higher than we were expecting to pay. one shot was $9 dollars for example. one domestic beer on tap was $8.50. expect to be billed at least $10 for every drink or shot you order. it's usually busy there. maybe it's the atmosphere that draws people in. the barserviceis usually great, but expect to spend a lot more money than you anticipated.

always good. wat can i say betterserviceand better food also your in a historic building that always cool to sit in history did i mention tha food it was wonderful

turned around. i went out with a group of friends thursday night to deep deuce grill. it is under new managment and it was a great experience. the food and theservicewas excellent and i love the patio

love this place. always always great customerservice& great food. just tried the new spicy shrimp tacos, don't recommend them thought bc 13$ for only 2 tacos & a little cup of some plain ass rice. i recommend the prime rib sliders, lobster roll, or the tres chili burger! yummmm

great atmosphere andserviceand food! caesar with shrimp for me and french dip for my guy. we both were very happy with our meals and the mules and coffee drinks were on point too. the bartender, lacy, was cool and helpful. think we might become regulars here!

i had the lite macaroni and cheese with fried chicken added. it was ooey gooey and cheesey. pretty tasty. not omg this is the best thing i've ever ate, but it was good and i would eat it again. my friend and i both had drinks and they were great. we went right after work and sat on the patio.servicewas a tad slow but i think the time of day had a lot to do with that. the patio is really nice. there's a bar, tv and fire pit and it's great people watching.

went today for lunch - yum!  i got the el cubano - really good!  the bread was a little different, but otherwise reminded me of the cubans i ate in florida when i was there on a trip recently.  really greatservicetoday too.  have tried lots of things from their menu - a fave is always their mac & cheese with blackened chicken - really good!

food was fantastic as well as theservicefrom the bartender. all their food is made from scratch and tons of drink options. one of my favs in bricktown!

love me some dd. i am always surprised when i read negative reviews of some of my favorite places...i've eaten at deep deuce many times and the food has been delicious and the beer has been cold and perfectly poured every time...

they always have at least a few nice step-up brews on tap (love palm) and the ribeye sliders are freaking delicious...

i've never received anything but great food and goodserviceat the deuce...

the food is delicious. the cheese sticks are the best! and the burgers are by far the best in the area. theserviceis great and very friendly. they have a patio with firepits and several flatscreen tv's outside which is really nice. again, the food is terrific - i've never gotten anything there i didn't like. highly recommend deep deuce grill!

great location--that is about it.. everything about the place is very average. sure, the building has a lot of potential and there is a pretty nice looking patio, but the food, beer selection, andservicewere ultimately mediocre, and those are three of the things i think a bar and grill should ultimately hang their hat on. crab dip was overpriced given the lack of anything that appeared to be crab, wings were very pedestrian, and--and this is a gripe i have with more than a few places-- if you're going to cook my burger well done, what is the point of even asking me how i want it cooked? not really worth the time or money.

ups and downs over the years. been going here since 2004... deep deuce grill is an awesome neighborhood bar, and has only gotten better as the patio as added a fullservicebar outside. .... the atmosphere, patio and drinks are awesome. problem is, staff is so-so and fleeding... rgaular staff members are awesome.... new staff and "non-regular staff" tend to be iffy... biggest problem is the food. it has gone from really bad (pre-2007) to excellent to poor. seems like chefs rotate quite often and the food is dependant on who is the current chef.

on my latest visit, i saw the menu had change to stickly sandwiches and burgers. i thought something must have changed in the kitchen and it had. the food is nothing more than what you could prepare in your own kitchen with what you could buy at walmart. the food had a very, out of a bag, out of a can feel. the fush taco have gone from the best in town to what i would consider the worse in town.

go for the atmosphere! go for the drinks! go for the patio... though don't go if you expect a great or even good dinner.

love this place!. my boyfriend and i work weird hours, so it's important to have something more than just ihop and waffle house available to us for late night dinner.

we were pleasantly surprised with deep deuce. not only are they open late, their prices are reasonable and their food portions are generous. for what we normally spend on a meal for two, we had more than enough food left for lunch the next day. this is a regular in our rotation. we have always been met with goodservicewhen here. however, this is a bar and we do expect that during the busy season (such as football and basketball season) that the small waitstaff may be unable to offer promptserviceto every patron. but for anyone looking for the same things we've found here, definitely give the deep deuce a try.

very average. made a point of visiting the grill on a friday night. appetizer of chips and salsa was tasty. entrees were average at best. chicken sandwich was way overcooked, burger was just a burger.servicewas ok.

hmm.... i neither love deep deuce grill nor hate it.serviceis usually good... the bartenders and servers are chatty and fun, and usually recognize you if you've been in more than once. it's a great place to watch sports if you can get a seat at the bar. the food is also decent, but nothing spectacular. they recently changed the menu and took off some of my favorite things! also, both the food and drink pricing is just a wee bit high, i would expect things to be just a little cheaper given the general atmosphere of the place.

new management no better than old.. we visited deep deuce grill on sunday for lunch. there was one other couple eating there. theservicewas very friendly. we placed our order and after waiting 20 or 30 minutes, the waitress mentioned that the gift certificate i had laid on the table would not be honored. this does not seem like a good decision for management to make when the restaurant is trying to recover from badserviceunder previous management.

also, the menu has changed. conspicuous in its absence is their formerly awesome chocolate cake. all they offered when we were there was carrot cake.
