turned around. i went out with a group of friends thursday night to deepdeucegrill. it is under new managment and it was a great experience. the food and the service was excellent and i love the patio

oklahoma city – is it just me or is deepdeucesecluded to the point that you don’t really even remember it’s there?. maybe that was the point. maybe i’m not as observant as i like to believe. whatever it is, it’s got some good places worth checking out. a few months ago i happened upon slaughter’s hall, but we’re not here to talk about that. another great spot down in the deep, deepdeucegrill.

i’ve been to the american pub grill casually for drinks and late snacks with friends in the past and i’ve always had a good experience. i have found memories with friends by their outdoor fire pit. i recently got reacquired with deepdeucegrill when i went on a foodie foot tour. during this tour and another visit later on with friends, i sampled various foods from their new menu. the chicken enchilada dip ($10) was an amazing starter. it’s not your boring chips and queso. no, this baby was served in a bowl lined with corn tortillas, filled with yummy, yummy cheese sauce, chicken, tomatoes, and avocado. it packed some serious flavor.

late night food. the nachos are good for late night fare. they come with shredded chicken and and a small amount of sour cream and salsa. they charge extra for more sour cream. deepdeuceuses real cheese and the chicken had a touch of flavor which made this place good enough for me for a late night snack.

love me some dd. i am always surprised when i read negative reviews of some of my favorite places...i've eaten at deepdeucemany times and the food has been delicious and the beer has been cold and perfectly poured every time...

they always have at least a few nice step-up brews on tap (love palm) and the ribeye sliders are freaking delicious...

i've never received anything but great food and good service at the deuce...

the food is delicious. the cheese sticks are the best! and the burgers are by far the best in the area. the service is great and very friendly. they have a patio with firepits and several flatscreen tv's outside which is really nice. again, the food is terrific - i've never gotten anything there i didn't like. highly recommend deepdeucegrill!

ups and downs over the years. been going here since 2004... deepdeucegrill is an awesome neighborhood bar, and has only gotten better as the patio as added a full service bar outside. .... the atmosphere, patio and drinks are awesome. problem is, staff is so-so and fleeding... rgaular staff members are awesome.... new staff and "non-regular staff" tend to be iffy... biggest problem is the food. it has gone from really bad (pre-2007) to excellent to poor. seems like chefs rotate quite often and the food is dependant on who is the current chef.

on my latest visit, i saw the menu had change to stickly sandwiches and burgers. i thought something must have changed in the kitchen and it had. the food is nothing more than what you could prepare in your own kitchen with what you could buy at walmart. the food had a very, out of a bag, out of a can feel. the fush taco have gone from the best in town to what i would consider the worse in town.

go for the atmosphere! go for the drinks! go for the patio... though don't go if you expect a great or even good dinner.

cheers! *clink*. i love it here. the parking is convenient (can't beat free parking in bricktown), the food is awesome, and they've just changed management, for the good!! the atmosphere is laid back and relaxing, and their fire pit outside calls my name everytime i see it.

everything is good. crab dip

love this place!. my boyfriend and i work weird hours, so it's important to have something more than just ihop and waffle house available to us for late night dinner.

we were pleasantly surprised with deep deuce. not only are they open late, their prices are reasonable and their food portions are generous. for what we normally spend on a meal for two, we had more than enough food left for lunch the next day. this is a regular in our rotation. we have always been met with good service when here. however, this is a bar and we do expect that during the busy season (such as football and basketball season) that the small waitstaff may be unable to offer prompt service to every patron. but for anyone looking for the same things we've found here, definitely give the deepdeucea try.

hmm.... i neither love deepdeucegrill nor hate it. service is usually good... the bartenders and servers are chatty and fun, and usually recognize you if you've been in more than once. it's a great place to watch sports if you can get a seat at the bar. the food is also decent, but nothing spectacular. they recently changed the menu and took off some of my favorite things! also, both the food and drink pricing is just a wee bit high, i would expect things to be just a little cheaper given the general atmosphere of the place.

new management no better than old.. we visited deepdeucegrill on sunday for lunch. there was one other couple eating there. the service was very friendly. we placed our order and after waiting 20 or 30 minutes, the waitress mentioned that the gift certificate i had laid on the table would not be honored. this does not seem like a good decision for management to make when the restaurant is trying to recover from bad service under previous management.

also, the menu has changed. conspicuous in its absence is their formerly awesome chocolate cake. all they offered when we were there was carrot cake.

new duece is great. the "new"deuceis by far better then the old one. much better service and bar staff. the menu has changed and they have some new tasty items. great place for lunch or after work with friends. i would recommend going great atmosphere and good appetizers and a nice patio. bar is smoke free but the patio is not. i would now recommend going.
