great for atmosphere and amazing food. it can please anyone. the drinks are great and the ribs and baked beans are also. reallygoodsalads too.

the food wasgoodand the drinks were decent but the wait was way too long. pricing is fair. my friends and i had to sit at the bar because the wait for a table was 30 minutes to an hour.

i’ve never had such a huge dessert sampler like this before! it was so huge that even though we had a table of 10 and various other friends around the same area and everyone tried some, we still had leftovers on the table. it was a crazy and crazygooddessert sampler!

always get excited when i have business lunches here. great atmosphere and very solid food. the pub burger is the best burger i've had in awhile. they are known for ribs and they don't disappoint. great beer selection andgoodspot for after work drinks as well.

the old is new again. his is another old favorite we'd ignored for much too long. this lone survivor of a once proud north carolina chain remains a carnivore's delight - ribs, steaks, prime rib, pulled pork, chicken, more ribs, burgers, and some seafood as well.

we quickly discarded any thought of an appetizer, and went straight for 2 combos loaded with meat choices, and enough side items to make it interesting. the bbq 3 ways ($17.99) includes pulled pork, st louis style ribs, and smoked chicken wings. we added hot chips and slaw as sides.

the pulled pork, while not really traditional nc style pork, it is quitegoodin its own right, and is sauced with the spicy, tomato-based sauce made in house. the st louis ribs were good, though true to the nature of this cut of ribs, they are rather chewy. the chicken wings are not a style we care for - combination of the smoked flavor and being over-sauced. the thin hot chips were outstanding, and the slaw was solid, went well with the pulled pork.

the 3 way sampler ($16.99) was composed of baby back ribs, chicken tenders, and fried shrimp, to which was added ffs and baked beans. ribs were excellent, falling off the bone tender, sauced just right. the chicken tenders were also very, very good, and a very nice serving. the fried shrimp were simply ok. the ffs were outstanding, especially dunked in the house bbq sauce - the beans were nice, as well.

their house bbq rib sauce ($3.95) is excellent, and after this visit i was reminded how much i like this sauce. of course, we brought a bottle home with us.

the service here remains quitegood- friendly and efficient - and the time out of the kitchen is very reasonable. there are a couple of things about this restaurant that do irritate - the music is constant and loud (background music should be background music), and a soft drink costs $2.39.

still, all in all, very much enjoyed our return here. we'll be back, and soon.

jane. we went to darryl's in greensboro last night for my birthday. it was the neatest experience. the server, tiffany, was very nice and helpful and attentive. the food was verygoodfrom the comments of the folks we had there, our ribs were delicious. a young lady sang happy birthday to me in a unique way. it was an all around wonderful time.

really bad service been h.... really bad service

been here twice. the first time it was real busy and we waited 30+ mins for just water after we were seated. i figured it was just because it was so busy.
this time it's not even busy and we got our water, then waited 30 + mins for our real drinks. over an hour for food. the waitress kept forgetting things. 2 of the 4 orders were wrong.
food tasted great once it was right, but damn the service was bad. "time-ruining-ly" bad. way over priced to have such horrid service.

good food,goodatmosphere.goodeverything. i love this place.

we were excited by thegoodreviews and wanted to try some southern bbq. sadly the pulled pork was on the bun in the exact shape of the ice cream scoop they used to dish it out and was pure mush. there was also a huge piece of bone or cartilage. the french onion soup was also more bread than onion or even broth. it's a shame that we were just passing through and this was our only meal in north carolina.

the dinner at darryls was excellent last night. it was specially prepared for our trip to south africa to get us ready for traditional south african food. we had a large group of people, but the service was excellent. the food tasted verygoodand was served very nicely. i would like to thank the chef jeff for such a wonderful job.

all i can say is wow...darryl's was phenomenal to not only me, but my whole group on its way to south africa! the service was wonderful, the food was beyond amazing, and the ambience was even better. i can honestly say my meal last night was one of the most memorable meals because of howgoodit was ! thank darryl's for this phenomenal meal! it was greatly appreciated!! the chef was amazing!

sampler platter was excellent. steak wasgoodbut sauteed mushrooms were bland. jack chicken was less than average and the pecans on top seems like an after thought. beignets were good. service was friendly, but had a lot of tables and was spread thin, salads came after dinner was served. atmoshphere was verygoodand comfortable. overall, i would expect more for the prices charged.

best steaks in town. my wife and i dinned at darryl's for the first time last night. we had the best dinner ever it was well prepared and great flavor our server was verygoodher name is linsey. i will be back and would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

the best of greensboro dining. this is a great place to meet friends at the end of the workday. the wait staff are really friendly and interested in your feedback to make sure you have a great experience. the food is wonderful. everything we ordered came out of the kitchen just right. the atmosphere is fun and upbeat; my friend and i had a reallygoodtime. i heartily recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the best of greensboro dining.
