great wine selection. if you like wine, you really need to go to darryl's. they have a great reserve wine selection and their prices can't be beat. most restaurants mark their wines up 100%, but not darryl's. you can also get a wine flight and try 4 of their regular wine then decide which is your favorite.

darryl's is 5 star. i have eaten at darryl's 8 times .the grilled salmon salad or the meal is the best i have eaten in this town. the grilled salmon has a uniquely seasoned taste , it's so tender it melts in your mouth.the staff are very professionial and greet you with a smile .the atmosphere is pleasant and yes you can hear yourself talk. every oppprtunity i get to dine out .i tell my friends meet me at darryl"s .it's 5 star and i'am lovin it .

great food, great environment. the food here is great and the environment is one of my favorites! the environment here is fun for the whole family! their dessert is also ammazing! i could have eaten 20 of their s'mores!

take your kids!! they have a kids concierge and while you are waiting on your food, they take the kids on a tour and take pics of them! they email the pics to you later. what a brilliant idea for both the kids and the parents! and our food was incredible. hadn't been in years but will definitely be going back.

killer steaks. went to flemings steakhouse in friendly center for christmas eve. had a good steak. went to darryl's last night. had a killer steak! they use certified angus beef and cook over a wood grill which gives the meat a flavor that blows everyone else away. plus i am not paying $7.00 for a baked potato like at other high end steak houses. wine list compliments the quality of the steaks at a price that is also more competitive than anywhere else i have found in the area. i highly recommend this restaurant for a great steak and a glass of wine. service also excellent despite the amount of business. a very well run establishment.

the most wounderful meals. i am a coustmer for life, i have something different everytime all is great, the works are so frendly. the managers you have selected, is the best, travis poff he is so nice and makes sure everything is good for everybody.he one that loves what he does you can tell. our family looks foward to fridays for darryls, we also tell everybody we are treated like family they must try it they would love it.

the past has come back to me!. while in greensboro christmas shopping, my wife and i stopped for a bite to eat at the historic darryls restaurant on high point road. being from winston-salem, we absolutely miss the 2 establishments that were once here and long for the fond memories and great food that once was darryls. visiting over the past few years saddened me because the food was simply par and some of the luster of darryls had perrished. so we gave it another shot and boy were we impressed! the service atmosphere was incredible! the wait staff treated you as if you were family. and the food? the food was incredible. from the old style wafer crackers to the potato soup, it really was a blast from the past. we enjoyed it so much that we returned a week later. what blew me away was that travis the manager and debra from the wait staff remembered our name. now we are making special trips to come and eat. also the cost was not as expensive as i would have thought. marty, i have to commend you on making an excellent restaurant!

darryls has one of the most unique atmospheres in town... actually it's prob top 5 of all i've ever been to around the us. it is very classic and fun. the food is very humble and satisfying with each bite to the end and the drink list is almost endless. i think 25 beers on tap. they have these little things called flights where you can try up to 4 beverages for a great price. if you haven't tried it, it's a def must!!

yum-o!. the staff is always friendly, the food is always yummy, the proportions are perfect, and the patio is great.

my son tells me they serve the best hamburger in town. personally, i dig the prime rib or beef ribs and and you cant go wrong with an italian apple (for those over 21).

don't forget to save room for the s'mores or a darryl's pecan turtle sundae! they are both perfect for sharing!

great food and service!. my husband and i went to darryl's the other night before the trans-siberian orchestra concert and had a really nice meal. the food was great and the service was outstanding! my husband fell in love with the beer list (many of his favorites to choose from), and i was pleasantly surprised by the extensive wine list as well. it's hard to find great beer and wine at the same location. we'll definitely be back!
