i can't believe we've been living down the road for over 4 years and been missing out on the best indian takeaway around! we had been bothering with another at bulimba which pales in comparison. the daal n saag and chicken jalfrezi were both generous serves and abundant in flavour. the naan was thinner than what we are used to but still really yummy. we will return again and again and again!

had a take away and it could have been much better considering the price. salty rice, average curry and thin naan bread.

don't believe the hype. my partner and i tried this place out given the overwhelming response on urban spoon. we ordered takeaway i had chicken vindaloo and my partner had seafood tikka marsala. it was pretty average. the seafood curry tasted way too fishy to the extent that it overpowered the curry. the chicken was quite dry in the vindaloo and somewhat lacking in flavor. the naan breads were bland. personally i've had better naan at miss india. quite expensive also. but can't get over how everyone was raving about this place perhaps they were just having an off night. though next time we'll go to banjara at coorparoo..

favourite curry in brisbane. love this place so much. the food is absolutely delicious, especially the vegetable chaat starter, the daal n saag and the lamb sagwala. i am pretty fussy about curries after living in the uk for a while and this place is definitely my absolute favourite after trying most of brisbane's curry restaurants. i also love how everything is cooked from scratch and tastes incredibly fresh.

great service and perfect for eating in or take away.

food: 8.5 / 10
service: 7 / 10
ambience: 6.5 / 10

after moving nearby to this place it has managed to knock a certain ashgrove curryhouse off the top billing for brisbanes best curry. i've had a couple of sit-downs and more than a few take aways. the veggie samosa's are delicious and the jalfrezi and rogan josh's (try the goat version) are particular stand out dishes but then i've got the rest of the menu to try yet!
good to find a curryhouse where the emphasis is on taste and spice.

curries with passion. wonderful spices and flavours. have had takeaways from here several times and can't fault anything. it's pricier than your average indian restaurant but you get good quality food every time.

really enjoy the food every time we eat here. we had a takeaway over the weekend, the portions are good and all come with rice. the sagwala is particularly good. we will be going again.

have eaten at curryville several times. food is always fresh and delicious, curries extremely flavorful, meats always fork tender, simply excellent. one of my favorite restaurants in the brisbane area.

by far the best indian curry in brisbane, absolutely delicious food, calamari entree is as insane as the menu. service is great, only let down is it is bloody freezing inside with no heating in or out which kills the atmosphere a bit. but chuck on a warm jumper and check it out this winter!

very dissappointed & wont be back. we have used this restaurant from the out set, , (in order to support local business ).
and it has since conception changed it's portion size (which i can understand) and the original chef.
we ordered chicken samosas last night (used to be 3 samosas with dipping sauce), & now is (2 samosa with no sauce) i then phoned back to order an accompanying sauce as this is no longer a given with the samosas, and frankley without the sauce i dont see the point in ordering them.
no dipping sauce was provided as was requested (it was even mentioned at time of collection that your wife rang and asked for sauce), it is probably still sitting on a counter somewhere in curryville.
and there seems to be a difficulty in understanding mild to medium requests for curry dishes. we ordered mild curries last night & we cannot eat what we have orderd, bill came in around $80-$90.
i wonder how those with smaller children or introducing teens to this food would find mild being so inediable to their palates they would cope with this as well as the cost factor.
this is such a bright, clean & lovely restaurant with fresh produce and a owner with a wicked sense of humour the web menu is testament to this, so why is this not being addressed by the owner?
if this was a one off i would not be here typing this right now however, it's not.
provide sauce with your samosas and when we ask you to provide mild then please do so, or this is a meal that cannot be shared with the whole family and therefore limets ordering this style of takeaway and your target customers.
