i drive past this place quite frequently and no matter what day of the week it is, it's always busy! my partner and i thought we best see what all the fuss was about and booked a table for two on a saturday night.

when we arrived the table booked for us was no more than 5 centimetres from another couples table which i find sooooo awkward! you may as well be sitting on their laps haha! we asked to move tables and were able to about 10 minutes later when another table became free. we then sat next to a grandmother and her two grandchildren, one of which ran outside to throw up, not a reassuring image when you're about to eat a meal from the same kitchen.

while fortunately our meals didn't make us physically unwell, we still didn't enjoy them. my partner had the butter chicken which was burnt. i had the spinach and paneer curry which is described as mild and creamy but was so spicy i couldn't eat it. yeah yeah, i'm a white girl, but this is my go-to meal at any indian restaurant and i've never encountered one so spicy it was inedible before!

needless to say, we're disappointed that we won't be visiting again after looking forward to trying this restaurant!

loved it! up there with the best curry i've ever had. my husband and i had the 'magic of curryville' which included chicken tikka masala, lamb sagwala and chicken karahai. all three were amazing. restaurant was busy and i can see why, but the service was good all the same. the food came out quickly.

we tried curryville tonight for take-away. the meals took longer than expected to be made but they tasted pretty good. the sauce base of the paneer tikka masala and vegetable jalfrezi were not vastly different, which did surprise me but the vegetables were different. the eggplant in the jalfrezi was deliciously smokey. i love a paneer and this one was quite good - more solid than creamy but it tasted good.

without doubt, the best curry i've ever had.!! the chicken madras is 10/10 as are the other dishes we've tried. we've been there a few times and the consistency and quality is bang on. we travel from the gold coast because nothing else compares locally.

amazing curry! up there with the best curry in the world. service is great. curries are made fresh from order so a 45min wait is normal - worth the wait. decor just needs a bit of work 👌🏾

amazing indian. some of the best curries i've ever experienced. been here twice now and haven't had a bad dish. the lamb sagwala is definitely their signature. tikka masala was also very very nice!!
i'm not sure how or why milk shakes work with indian but a pure vanilla bean milkshake after a spicy curry hit the spot.
a 10/10 experience, would recommend.

ordered a butter chicken medium in heat- it was the sweetest butter chicken i ever had, almost tasted like it was laced with honey (or should i say smothered) the village style rice was delicious. the garlic nan & cheese and spinach nan contained no cheese, barley any filling and was tasteless like a giant piece of dough. i've heard such good things so maybe i went on a bad night or shouldn't have ordered butter chicken.....

first visit in november 2015: 5/5
wowwwww the best indian i've ever had in many years!!! great flavour, generous portions, lovely presentations and friendly service. definitely will be back for more though it is a bit far from where i live.

second visit in may 2017: 4/5
it's was a full house, so we got to wait for our table. it took approx 15 minute until our table was ready. probably it was so busy that staff didn't seem to be as friendly as they used to be.

we had a tasty goat curry , a paneer tikka masala, a chicken korma and a chicken hai hai. all the curries were served nice and hot and in good portions; however, the chicken hai hai stated on the menu "the hottest curry" was overwhelmed with chilli powder. of course, we loved hot curries, that's why we ordered it. personally we preferred chopped fresh chilli rather than powder. and a good hot curry didn't need only chilli taste but also a balance of flavour and aroma. rice was complementary with curries and it was cooked perfectly with nice aroma. garlic naan and garlic & fresh chilli naan were soft and doughy.

disgusting food. no flavour, same base in all curries. butter chicken is devine but here we found the worst butter chichen ever. very simple logic by adding lots of sugar and cream making australians fool. these kind of restaurants have created really very bad image of indian food. couldn't find any indian flavour in curries. very low class menu. can't imagine people can be this much stupid

my favorite curry-house in queensland and keep coming back here after several years. i have tried nearly all the curries but now stick to either the goat curry or chicken tikka masala.
it gets rather busy with a compact dinning area and can get a bit noisy. if you don't mind this and are after an exotic taste of spices, then it is well worth the visit.

we came here with our children for a feast, and we got what we ordered! the entrees were flavoursome and really well plated. very progressive indian. the menu is a great read and the choices are great. a tiny little gripe was that we ordered two curries with medium heat, but they both came out quite mild. the flavours were still great, so happy days. worth your time.
