we started are evening here with some cocktails and a cheese board.  it was a good call.  the location and vibe of this place are very cool.  our cocktails were made to perfection and our sever was very knowledgeable regarding them.  cool place!

for good service sit at the bar. otherwise you'll be waiting all night for your drinks.

the drinks are pricey, but worth it (and they have a happy hour). and i would recommend trying one of the salads or cold tapas.

intrigue brought me to the doorstep of cure bar. i was reviewing james beard award recipients and was excited to see nola bar listed as such. i went with a friend and we journeyed uptown to this quaint hole in the wall, there was no signage and we literally thought the gps was fooling ya. we walked into such a beautifully decorated bar. the drink menu was jazzy and listed page after age of wonderful delights. i was torn between the two dudes and a cadillac and between the sheets. our table water was room temp and an epic fail in our book. we had to flag the waitress down for our tab and there wasn’t much in way of actual food to eat. the between the sheets drink was amazing and the place lives up to the hype about the drinks. i would only return for the drinks.

i was super excited to eat here! i've driven by many times and have always wanted to go in. everything on the menu looked so good; we ordered almost everything. this wine bar also has an excellent choice of scotch. i love the ambiance with dim lighting and leather couch seats. cure we started off with goat cheese stuffed dates wrapped in pancetta. these were so delicious! the sweetness of the dates complimented the pancetta in the background of goat cheese and it was coated in a syrup of dates. goat cheese stuffed dates bacon and bleu cheese tartine w bayley hazen, louisiana honey, bacon and onion jam. the bacon with blue cheese and onion is no stranger, but the hazen and honey were a new and much welcomed spin. bacon and blue cheese tartine spicy jamaican meat pie with chicken, coconut curry, barbeque sauce and house made orange coconut soda. the coconut curry was a little on the weak side, but i really loved the barbeque sauce combination with the

we stopped by late one night just for drinks. cure has a very modern, trendy, upper scale, for 20-30yrs old atmosphere. i would consider we were appropriately dressed (i was in a blazer and khakis). drinks were phenomenal! we had a great time.

personally i think this is the most swanky bar uptown within walking distance of tulane's main campus, making it the ideal place to hang out for special occasions.

this place is amazing. being from wv, we don't have a large selection of mezcal, so i tried the cocktail on the menu with mezcal in it. i loved it. then i simply said i like citrus and mezcal and our lovely waitress had bartender ryan gannon whip up something off the cuff that was amazing. i repeated a few different "dealer's choice" variations with the base spirit of my choosing and all were immensely delicious. if i lived anywhere near here i'd probably never leave this place. the drinks, staff, music, and overall atmosphere were amazing.

this place is great.  i felt like it was a great value for such great quality, service, and ambiance.  we had two cocktails a glass of wine, the bbq chicken, kale salad, tartar, pate, and pimento cheese chips for 80 bucks.  we live in the neighborhood so we were really there for the food.  really nice friday night treat.  my only complaint was that i saw photos of the tartar and i was expecting a larger portion.  i love tartar so i was really sad when i had the last bite.  the pate was alot bigger than i expected so i left satisfied.  maybe a bit to satisfied.  loved it.  gonna make it a regular place.

the food here is pretty forgettable in my opinion, but the drinks and atmosphere with out a doubt make up for it. my absolute favorite place to get a french 75 in the city!

if you are a lover of craft cocktails this is your place. we arrived on a saturday night at happy hour with a small group. all of the cocktails we tried were outstanding and they even have a daily punch which was equally outstanding. unfortunately, i cannot remember all of the ingredients in the daily punch but it did have champagne and fresh raspberries. the bar itself is warm and inviting and not pretentious. our group sat on the corner of the bar where we were introduced to ryan who is one of the most adventurous and innovative bartenders we’ve ever met. he took the time to explain each of the unique ingredients he was using to craft our cocktails. his timing was impeccable-- when you were down to the last few sips of your drink he would arrive and start the process of creating another fabulous drink. after we tried most of the drinks on the menu ryan started to resurrect some of the previous cocktails crafted at cure. needless to say, they were perfect. since this establishment was our pre-dinner cocktail stop we only had a few of their small plates. the duck liver pate was smooth, creamy and flavorful. the other outstanding dish was the home made pimento cheese and hand cut potato chips. i would definitely recommend cure if you’re looking for a unique craft cocktail bar and have the time to explore new orleans outside the french quarter.

incredible concoctions, classy place, great bartenders w/ friendly service. love this place! unique & incredible drinks that are like mouth-explosions. classy place with great service.

take a look at the drink menu on their website. if you're like me, you'll probably have to google some of the ingredients.

these guys are terrific and terrifically creative mixologists. wait until you see the tinctures they make themselves and keep at the end of the bar in the dark bottles with eye droppers in the screwcaps we remember from chem lab.

i spent 6 months in 2013 on a project in nola and went back several times. i started working overtime and the night shift after only 2 months or otherwise i would have been back more often.

third time won't be a charm!. i tried to give this place a chance. the first time some friends and i visited, we waited forever to have our drink orders taken. when i stepped away from the table, drinks were cleared from the table. the staff was unapologetic about it, and refused to replace them. about a month later, my girlfriend and i figured we would give this place another try. i should have learned my lesson the first time. again we had to wait for quite some time to have our drink order taken. when placing our next drink order, the bartender scoffed at the drink order, and informed us "thats going to take awhile." for a place that claims to be an upscale cocktail bar, that is not the attitude to have when someone orders a specialty drink. we left immediately and won't be back.

best "adult" bar in new orleans. in freret street corridor which has been revitalized into awesome uptown experience. mixologists can create stunning drinks with 10 different ingredients. definitely can't get these drinks at home or at any average bars. food (tapas type plates) are good. try the steak tartar, which is as good as any i've ever had. not cheap so go at 5-7 which is happy hour ($12 drinks for half price). great pre-dinner spot. primarily uptown locals here.
