the breakfast is very good.
the friday brunch is among the best in abu dhabi. it's really impressive to see the range of food.
it is not a real brunch (breakfast+lunch), it's more a huge buffet. there are several cuisines so you are sure to find something you like. my favourite station is the foie gras: pure heaven.
now let's talk about the staff: they are all so nice and friendly. they are very fast and professional.
we always feel like home when going there.
we strongly recommend cuiscene.

i'm giving this place a rating of 1 because this is the lowest i can give. we chose this place because of the high rating. as any buffet restaurant in a good hotel, the decor and ambiance were great, but we came here for the food and we were really looking forward to it as we were super hungry. the food was disappointing to say the least. the sushi station was laughable as there were no sashimi or nigiri. the makis that were actually there was horrible with the rice being chewy and the filling being mainly veggies and pickles.
the rest of the spread were equally disappointing. i would not recommend this place. please spend your hard earned money elsewhere as this place costs a whooping 220 aed per person for dinner, beverage not included.

been here for my birthday treat & opted for the buffet.wide spread of dishes & lovely dessert options.they were kind enough to present a small birthday cake for the occasion.the outdoor seating is cosy & must say their private pool/beach gives a great view of the zayed mosque.

beautiful place and a decent ambiance
beautiful large dining area
peaceful environment
cool & calm atmosphere
classy interiors and decorations were amazing
the food quality is excellent
we tried spring roll, french fries, grilled chicken and pineapple juice
all items were delicious

the place is very nice especially the outdoor seating
service is good, but, the food is medium,
i tried the steak, roast bead, grilled chicken, all of these were average in taste and you can easily find better tastes in other places.
meat was having a lot of hard fat and un-chewable.
but they have a good variety of food.
price is normal for a restaurant in a hotel

second best buffet in abu dhabi. it's shame that they stopped serving lunch in here. however, their dinner is a wide variety of good produce. even if a dish is not served in the buffet, you could ask for it and the chefs are very friendly that they would happily cook it for you. the waiters are not very supportive in both my visits though. but all in all, great good and great chefs.

the food variety was actually good.nevertheless sometimes when food variety is over normal this makes you put from it piles and leave it as a waste in your plate.the service was very good but in my opinion the good restaurant is about taste of food mainly.food although variable was tastless.desserts all were very good and tasty.fresh juices also was good except for lemon juice which was very bitter.regarding the outside area lights was not comfortable it was a bit dark than it should that you do not see even what you are eating.moreover we were surrounded by cats which was something confusing in a five star restaurant.i do not hate cats but suppossed that it was a romantic dinner which was disturbed.

visiting the brunch at abu dhabi’s fairmont bab al bahr, marked our eighth consecutive friday brunch this season. not that we’re complaining or anything – we absolutely love brunch! the friday fairmont brunch is the only one of the big five abu dhabi brunches that we’ve yet to try (the others being the intercontinental, emirates palace, ritz carlton and st. regis saadiyat) and with guests in town for the weekend, we couldn’t think of a more appropriate way to spend the afternoon.

seafood buffet every thursday
we had our monthsary last thursday, since we are a seafood lover we decided to try cuiscene at fairmont bab al bahr.

the food selection was impressive and there’s a wide variety of seafood from oyster, lobster, crabs, shrimp and squid, you choose either grilled, fried or fresh. the sushi station was very nice and well there’s an asian food as well from nasi goreng, satay and tom yum soup. and there’s an arabic and indian selection as well. it’s worth your money.

price is 235 aed plus taxes. drinks not included.

please note we are using an entertainer voucher.

i have been there for ramadan  iftar using an entertainer voucher and it was a good experience and my rating is as following : 

1- variety 5/5 - a lot of options for all tastes , there was a big sushi bar & lot of juices included in the buffet .

2- organization 5/5 - the place is huge & buffet was organized in a way that you can reach any food any time with no problem specially that usually in ramadan iftar buffet is crowded but it was not in this restaurant .

3- food taste 3.5 - all food taste is very much acceptable but not super

i have been in cuiscene several time, several occasions.

recently i have been in their iftar tent in ramadan, absolutely amazing variety,

they have managed to satisfy all different tastes. i loved their sea food dishes which really have high quality.

spinach, cheese and meat ftaer, spring rolls are so good, fresh warm and tasty.
sweets section was fine

my only note would be on their fruits section, as they could present higher quality of fruits and quantity was little they had to refill a lot of time.

we were staying in the hotel and planned to go for shangira la for dinner but my daughter was tired so we decided to give it a try
luckily it was the seafood night and i have to say that was absolutely great both quality and taste

varieties were good and kids enjoyed the food a lot

we will come again

had a great brunch at this place, it was a christmas special which made it even better. variety was great, food taste was good all in all. if u don't like one thing, no issues cause there are more and more to try. it exceeded my expectations.
price wise its on the expensive end at around 500 per person - it was a christmas special, that's why i think.
outside seating is pleasant when the weather helps. i recommend this for a brunch
