cuiscene - fairmont bab al bahr

we had a stay at hotel fairmont bab al bahr located in a very pleasant place. our stay included breakfast at cuiscene restaurant. the breakfast buffet was immense. we enjoyed the lavish breakfast.

been there for dinner.
good arrangement of buffet, no live cooking station, arabic sweets are not the best, and their steak was so salty!!!!!
i would recommend to turn more light on, eating in the dark is not the best. 🧐

i wouldn't say the best buffet i have tried but definelty is not the worst. the variety wasn't that much specially at the desserts station, where we waited for over 15 minutes for the crepe station chef and he never showed up.
i went there inviting my friend and his wife but wasn't impressed by the food as much as the ambiance and the service as these were awesome.
it's a bit expensive for the range of food you get but as i said i have tried worst :)
it might be that i was unlucky as i went there based on the online reviews and personal recommendations, so i might give it another shot.

we had a chance to experience the lavish breakfast buffet of this outlet during our recent stay at the fairmont bab al bahr. they have lots of tables and the outside seating is great too!

the breakfast spreads was one of the best ones i had seen in abu dhabi so far, although i must confess i haven't experienced over 20. they had a separate section for gluten free food. the service was really good. i loved the pancake and waffles and the chicken cheese sausage was the best! falafel was good too. i fell in love with their teapot too 😁 i only wish they kept the buffet open till 11 rather than 10.30 am (i think it's just the dubai habit talking!)

surely something you should look out for if you're here. i will probably go back just for a seafood thursday night buffet!

booked a table of four plus a toddler on a friday for dinner. we were told that they are packed and could not accommodate us for our preferred time but upon insisting the hostess did her magic and booked us in for a slightly earlier slot.
the restaurant was extremely busy at 8 pm friday but that did not hinder any service levels. throughout our evening there was ample wait staff to attend to us. being international night there was a good amount of main courses, which included grills, asian, indian, sea food and arabic. the food quality was good and spices adjusted for an international audience. the salad bar was endless and they also had sushi. by the time i discovered sushi, as the buffet is laid out all around the restaurant, california rolls had finished. the chef saw this, inquired how he could help and delivered the rolls made especially for me at my table.
they also accommodated my request to present congratulatory desert to our guests. the deserts were yummy and endless in choice.
this is a child friendly restaurant which made the evening even more relaxing. would recommend booking in advance and inquire about any dining offers going on at the restaurant.

visited this place couple of times with family, its a nice place with good ambiance providing fast service with friendly staff, now coming to food, i think its the best thing about this restaurant i really enjoyed the meal here.

we have called for reservation, and i mentioned to the lady that this is our wedding anniversary.
we went there, our table was near the glass as i requested but we found that two ladies are sitting in the next table and talking loud, so we asked to be moved, the waiter took us to a very nice table with great ambiance.
the decoration is very elegant.
the food was very good, we liked the sushi the most.
later on, one lady came to our table carrying a plate with three kinds of sweets, and happy anniversary was written on the plate, it was very kind of them.
overall we had a very nice anniversary at cuiscene, recommended.

i booked a table for 2 persons for thursday night buffet ( sea food night) , i told them i'll use voucher.
the restaurant located in luxurious hotel (fairmont), the 2 ladies at the restaurant reception welcomed us with a very nice smile, then they showed us our table.
the ambience is stunning , the buffet is divided in a cleaver way .
salad station is full of variable items with extraordinary taste.
the live grill station is incredible.
will come to my target for today, sea food station, the amount of lobster, shrimp, fishes is huge, i tried everything here and all are superb we ate and never finished.
the sweet station never different from the rest .
at the end i couldn't find any space in my stomach for more food although i was willing to eat more.
sadly we left with a plan to come back in near future.

best place i had buffet recent. they was a nice variety of cuisine. staff very accommodating and friendly. endless grill seafood n meat perfect to your choice. their desserts were a mix of different flavour a. their dates n caramel cake was the best :)

last night was a night to remember. i was invited to celebrate my friend's birthday at cuiscene restaurant located in fairmont bab al bahr. the ambiance was really cozy and we were greeted by their friendly staff. they had a wide array of food selections you can choose from. the seafood soup was really superb. it was loaded of crab meat and scallops. salads, cocktails, sushis, and the main courses was really sumptuous and delicious. but their desserts was really very very good. each desserts was plated individually and i loved all of it. it was indeed a night to remember as we left there with good memories and fully satisfied.

i've been here on friday for my brothers 16th birthday and honestly speaking, their food is high quality. i don't usually like buffets but cuiscene must be a fav. i loved it so much that i came back here on tuesday with my aunts who loved it a lot too! everything is cooked on point whether the food or desserts. there's no bad thing at all. definitely coming here for often.

breakfast review

fairmont bab al bahr hotel restaurant that serves breakfast for it's guest.

food: they have great varieties of breakfast items including live eggs station and live crepe making station.
tip: try their nutella and banana crepe and their almond crossaint!

service: is wonderful the staff is really helpful and asks you imediatly whether you would like to have a hot drink.

ambience: cozy and warm perfect to start your day in the morning!

great ambience. especially during breakfasts, the buffet spread quite a bit around, creating a convenience atmosphere to walk around.
although, the taste wasn't, unfortunately as good as, to be remembered. for eg..turkey bacon quite rubbery. french toasts a bit hard. baked beans had some sort of smell.
anyway.. perhaps it was just that weekend when both days (morning brekkie) were unsatisfactory.

have been to cuiscene a couple of times - the last one being to celebrate my husbands birthday.
