absolutely excellent!. this is the closest in asheville, you will ge to a nyc/manhattan qualityitalianrestaurant as i grew up in nyc and then spent 26-years in nj with frequent visits to nyc eateries. the quality and freshness of the food is exceptional and service impeccable by knowledgable native italians, which there is nothing better to serve you. they take traditional dishes and modernize them where i would call this cusine modern italian. the staff will also create special requests to cater to people like myself who have food allergy problems, with no problem. the whole experience is great. a little pricey, yes, but you get what you pay for and in this case it is well worth it.

in the bar capital of usa this restaurant is a delight. a unique menu with very different food options. staff that are knowledgable & eager to help. had the bestitalianfood in usa in this restaurant. highly recommend.

asheville – not as in “uncooked”, but as in hard to find,italiancuisine taken to the next level. that is unless you’re talking about this steak tartare sent out to us by chef brian canipelli at cucina24. thank you, chef!. after meeting up with friends for dinner at sovereign remedies, we decided to head over to cucina24 for a(nother) drink and perhaps a little more noshing. mind you, these friends are slightly crazy foodiots, like me: a pr company owner who reps restaurants, a professional food photographer, and a well known local freelance writer who frequently covers culinary subjects.

tender meatballs!!. i have been in town visiting and this is one of my sister's favorite place. we had their made in-house mozzarella and house cured olives for apps. i had their procuitto and veal meatball and she had their bolognese. all food was exceptional and cook to perfection. service was above average, but not great. however, we let him decide on our wine and he did not disappoint. would definitely recommend, especially if your anitalianfood junkie!

cucina24 is a beautifully decorated and conveniently located on wall street in asheville, north carolina. many asheville restaurants are well known for their use of local farm products and cucina24 is no exception. the twist is that chef/owner brian canipelli uses the local food to make innovationitaliancuisine. he states on his website: the freshest seasonal and local ingredients highlight cucina24's menu. the farms and ranches of western north carolina help add local flavor to classicitaliantastes. it's been some time since i dined at one of chef brian's tables so i had a good reason to take my wife and friends in for dinner prior to catching a play at the asheville community theatre . since we were early we landed one of the tables beside the window facing patton avenue as well as the open kitchen. perfect for watching everything - like dinner and a show before going to the show. pig trotter and foie gras terrince this was the first experience at cucina24 for my wife and friends

best italian.italianfood is so much more than garlic and tomatoes and cucina 24 knows this. i appreciate the variety ofitaliandishes this restaurant offers, plus there are italians (as in first generation) who work there so if you go, have youritalianlanguage skills ready for one authentic night!

portion size - i have sampled a number of different plates at cucina 24 and have never experienced a lacking in portion size. i find the amount of food just right.
