c's waffles

it was crowded, but, even during this busy weekend, i was able to get a seat at the counter. very friendly staff. i had a c's scramble fixed with egg whites at my request without any fuss. goodhashbrowns, but we both forgot about my toast! decaf coffee available.

ate here 1/10/16. i wasn't very hungry but the place smelled wonderful! had scrambled eggs,hashbrowns, and toast ans nabbed a piece of my friend's hamburger steak. it was delicious. inexpensive and inviting. very attentive staff. i definately will return.

excellent little place with great prices. i had the hungry jack with a waffle. i got to say i haven't had a better waffle orhashbrowns!!! my wife had the cakes and eggs. she loved it!!

wow. great breakfast. first of all the service was great. we were seated right away and every step of the way we never had to wait for our waitress or flag her down. our coffee cups were always kept full. we were here at 9am on a tuesday and it was nearly full but they had 5 waitresses on to cover about 20 tables (i.e well staffed). despite the name of the place being waffles, we went with other breakfast items. i went with the eggs benedict and they were fantastic. eggs were perfectly poached and thehashbrowns were perfectly cooked. wife went with corned beefhashand that was also cooked perfectly the way she likes it. portions were perfect. don't get me wrong, i'm not saying the food is the best you'll ever have but it is way better than most places. i've eaten in some well reviewed restaurants in nyc and this place would be right up there at least in terms of breakfast.

they have some outdoor seating too if you'd like a bit quieter setting or would like the fresh air with your breakfast.

the decor is very nice - not at all what i expected. (i expected typical old decor like you get at your local diner) modern yet cozy.

all in all this is a great place for a great breakfast. would definitely recommend and visit again.

by the way if you are a pittsburgh fan you'll feel at home with some sprinkles of steelers and pens stuff around the kitchen. (i'm a bills fan though)

great food and excellent value. highly recommended! they make very goodhashandhashbrown potatoes. located in the corner of the strip mall and there is no big sign on the restaurant – a little hard to see from the street.

buckwheat and bacon waffles were delicious. cheesehashbrowns were also good. get the orange juice!!!! it's fresh squeezed and so good!
