so, i'm not very well versed in the whole crêpe scene but i will say that these crêpes are amazing. i have been coming here on and off for the past ten years and the quality of the food and the consistency of the crêpes are constant. the options range from foodie to strictly traditional and they are all excellent! also the eggs benedict are delicious, a great way to fuel an entire day of boarding :)

crepe montagne is a small, quaint and popular restaurant in whistler that serves authentic french crepes.  crepe montagne’s crepes are gluten-free because they are made with buckwheat.  the buckwheat contributes to a nutty-flavour and has nutritious benefits like high in protein.

crepe montage is an authentic french restaurant in whistler village specializes in dishes of crepes, french toast, egg benedicts and omelettes.   we decided to come here again for brunch on the easter sunday.  it is one of the popular and busy restaurants in whistler so long wait is expected during peak hours.  our waiting time was about 40 minutes which i considered not that bad already.  worth it! must eat:     eggs benedicts small and cozy place; warm and lovely atmosphere.  i really like it! great coffee. egg benedict - black forest ham @ $13.50 served with fresh fruits, hash browns i love the bennies the best!  one of the best i have had so far. their homemade hollandaise sauce was so rich and creamy.  muffins were toasted crispy texture.  the eggs were perfect.  this dish was superb!  the medium poached eggs were so delicious and runny perfectly.

terrible. came here based on all the good reviews and was very disappointed. the food was far below average. we had french onion soup to start - it had no onion in it? it has the taste and consistency of a beef oxo cube dissolved in water. we tried a crepe next... they don't even cook them fresh! how long does it take to cook a crepe?! we are travelling and thought this place would be a bit of a treat.. we will not come here again - cannot understand the good reviews! we wish we had spent our money in the surrounding food places - lupinos (excellent), peaked pies (excellent) to name a few. would have had a nicer meal for far less money! the service was fine, but we went for the food.

not quite worth the wait. we ate here for brunch this morning, and while the food was good, we concluded that it wasn't worth the 50 minute wait (we were told it would be 20-30 minutes, potentially more), particularly since there is only room for 2-3 people to wait inside. note that the base vegetarian savory crepe is fairly small, and they don't allow substitutions while charging quite a bit for each additional ingredient -- so it's not a great value if you're a vegetarian.

crepe montagne whistler is an authentic french creperie. located by iga in whistler village, this cafe is perfect for brunch on the heated patio. service is friendly. food can be slow depending on traffic and busyness. the atmosphere is casual and there are always long waits. crepe montage specializes in crepes, french toast, egg benedicts and omlettes. but given the name crepe montagne, how could you not order some sweet or savory crepes?   the savoury crepes are made with buckwheat. sweet crepes are made with white flour. the portions are huge and it is quite filling. so it justifies for the price points avg $10-14.   we ordered a few breakfast crepes: nordique (1 egg, cheese, tomatoes) and bobsleigh (tomatoes, ham or canadian back bacon and cheese). french toast, pesto egg benedict. fresh pestro sauce with a lot of mushrooms, medium poached egg and hollandaise sauce. served with hashbrowns and fresh fruits. french toast is fluffy and not too greasy. i like the sprinkle of confectioner sugar!     sometimes there are crepe montage whistler groupon deals during the afternoon. so be sure to check back. i highly recommend anyone spending a weekend getaway in whistler to try this delicious french creperie! it is one of the best brunch restaurant in whistler.     crepe montagne whistler url: http://crepemontagne.com/ cuisine: french, dessert, breakfast hours mon 8:00 am – 2:30 pm tue 8:00 am – 2:30 pm wed 8:00 am – 2:30 pm thu 8:00 am – 9:00 pm fri 8:00 am – 9:00 pm sat 8:00 am – 9:00 pm sun 8:00 am – 9:00 pm     4368 main st, whistler, bc v0n 1b4 (604) 905-4444 the post crepe montagne whistler | french creperie whistler blackcomb the village appeared first on .

crepe montagne is an authentic french creperie located in whistler village. they have lots of breakfast and brunch items that are sweet and savoury. m and i came for a day trip to whistler and he demanded we find some brunch. doing a quick search on urbanspoon, it lead me here. there are seats inside and outside, but we sat inside since there was only one table available. it’s a cute place and i’m amazed the chef can cook in such a tight space. coffee is a must for every morning. we left vancouver pretty early to get here by 9am. cappuccino was my drink of choice. this drink has alway stuck with me because i started drinking coffee in university when i was backpacking across europe. i just loved the foam with the espresso. it’s exactly what i need to perk up in the morning. pesto eggs benedict ($14) has a fresh pesto sauce with a lot of mushrooms, topped with a medium egg and hollandaise sauce. on the side, there are hashbrowns and fresh fruit. i couldn’t stop eating this! it was so go

this was my first time having a buckwheat crepe. it has a more earthy, grainy taste than regular crepes and a less stretchy texture. i thought the buckwheat crepe worked really well with the savoury dish
