on the rainy night on election day wen most of the shops are closed, wen u suddenly crave for a chocolate sizzler, wat do u do? u drag ur poor hubby n kid at 10 in the nyt to cream centre, race course..! thats how we landed here and since it was really late n cold outside we decided to warm up with a chinesesizzlerfor main course and then settle for the dessert and an ice tea..chinesesizzlerwas served piping hot n without much delay even though the place was crowded..the service was bit slow which made oursizzlerto get blackened a bit..but as for the part that was edible, it was good, vegs n noodles were well cooked, crispy and presented in a colorful and mouth watering way with a sauce(sorry, was too distracted to notice what, for all i know it too tasted good) for accompaniment..then came the chocolatesizzlerand strawberry ice tea..no words for both, simply awesome, sizzler was a sinful combo of a large chocolate brownie with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream and almonds on top in a bubbling mass of hot chocolate sauce, definitely tasted how its supposed to taste..ice tea needs special mention since it was humongous with real strawberry extract..v much vfm and must try if u want a strictly veg indulgence..😃

its one of the best vegetarian restaurant in coimbatore. a bit on the expensive side but the food here is worth it. i have visited the place many times but during my recent visits the taste was not upto the mark of previous visits. i have tried tandoori paneer shaslik sizzler, italian bakedsizzlerand bambaiya pav bhaji sizzler, paneer peshawari which is out of the world , cheese balls , italian herb chilli cheese toast , tandoori subz wantons ,alfredo pasta , cheesy nachos and cream centre veg biryani , sizzling brownie and triple chocolate sundae during our various visits and i must say cheese balls ,paneer peshawari and the sizzlers and sizzling brownie are a must try.

had been wanting to go to cream center for a long time . and so my first visit happened last week.

we tried a lot of their signature dishes.

we ordered spring vegetable soup, american corn cheese balls,  cheese chilly toast , big paneer tikka , italian bakedsizzlerand triple chocolate sundae.

- spring vegetable soup - it was really yummy! a slight hot and sour flavour with all vegetables incuding paneer which just melts into your mouth.

- american corn cheese balls -  being their signature dish , my expectations was high for this one. and i wasnt disappointed at all . the perfectly round balls with cheese and corn that just melts. corn and  cheese combo can never go wrong , right?

- cheese chilly toast - i loved it! completely justified by quantity and taste. relished every bite of it.

- big paneer tikka - the paneer was soft and was perfect. however in all the different flavors of paneer tikkas, i felt something basic missing. somehow the taste wasn't appealing to me at all.  this was a disappointment. even my mom and brother felt the same..

- baked italiansizzler- sizzlers are one of the highlights of cream center and we were completely satisfied with this one! macaronis cooked in a cheesy  sauce , spaghetti  in red sauce and baby potatoes cooked in a white creamy and cheesy base .  i felt the spaghetti was a bit tangy than spicy.. however rest of it was good.

- triple chocolate sundae - being a chocolate lover, this was the first time i was having scoops of icecream arranged like a tower  , one above one. the brownie cake was extremely tasty and was a perfect combo with the icecream. the overall experience was fascinating and will come back again to try their other dishes.

price is on the higher side and were prepared for it.. bill was around  rs.1850 for 3 people. completely worth given the taste and ambiance.

they are servingsizzlerafter your desserts
they said that's the way people like it ? seriously... i mean is it ?

here dum biryani served without proper dum, normally dum biryani should be served in pot, they prepare as normal biryani don't even care to serve in pot, they serve as normal rice bowl.

when we confronted these things to manager , he said that's the way we do it, that's the correct way , that's the way they like it

i thought this is franchise
but it's not

all people who are actually looking for authentic north indian food this is not at all the place

they even don't know how the things to be served

well spoiled sunday evening dinner

well spiled

totally disappointed

a delightful place for vegetarians with excellent varieties of north indian delicacies. chilli cheese maska paav was wonderful with two flavors in each of the paav. american corn cheese balls was faithful to its signature dish tag. onion rings turned out to be bland with no spices and was not worth its signature dish hype in my humble opinion. a little flavor could have been better. so many options to choose from in thesizzlercombo and that itself is worth a second visit to tryout something we might have missed earlier. channa paneer bhatura was the star of the show with a very tasty , rich and creamy channa paneer gravy. cream centre vegetable biriyani was really tasty with balanced amount of spices. mexican and italian dishes are in the offer but have saved them for future visits. sizzling brownie seems to be a popular dessert among the visitors but we opted for tall brownie fudge sundae which was good too. its a delightful place for vegetarians and i would definitely recommend it!

went there for dinner on sat (4-8-18) and the place was full. it was a 5 min wait before the staff provided us with a table. we ordered a spicy vegetable ranch pizza and chilli paneersizzlerwhich tasted good. but coming to the tandoor dishes, we chose to order hariyali paneer tikka, parathas and phulkas. the lachcha and tawa paratha tasted as if it were some ready to eat frozen paratha straight from the refrigerator and heated on the pan. although the phulkas were good. subz do pyaaza kadai gravy was bland and not upto the standards. the hariyali paneer tikka didn’t taste great either as it was slightly burnt more than usual. as i was disappointed with the parathas and gravy , decided to order asizzlerand only to my disappointment the waiter told it would take more time and decided not to order. finally, topped it off a with a fruit sundae which was good. i get it that it was crowded that night, but wasn’t compromised on quality and taste of the parathas, tikka and gravy. service was not satisfactory. overall a below average dinner experience !

highly priced for the food they serve. i have ordered italian baked sizzler, it has no taste of italian food or even smell. indianizedsizzlerwith italian name. though ambience is good, it's a total waste for money.

another visit to coimbatore and another one to cream centre on race course. we were about 11 of us and ordered a variety of food - spaghetti, penne, paneer tikka, pau bhaji sizzler, cheese balls, oriental paneersizzlerand parathas. no complaints of the food. service however sucks. we almost finished our food and then came the paneer tikka. a "few minutes" for paneersizzlertook about 15 minutes. we were there for a late lunch around 2.30pm but still the service wasn't what we were expecting.

cream centre is a great place to have sizzlers. the quantity of rice that comes with the sizzlers is quite a lot for one person, so go their famished, to complete all the rice they serve you with it. the browniesizzlerwith ice cream also tastes yummy. price for 2 was around rs. 1400. the service is very good and ambience is cool for an evening dine. i would
surely recommend this place for ya'll !!!

ambience
is good. well maintained, clean restaurant. comfortable seating.

food
the soup was insipid.
american corn cheese balls was really good, worth trying.
the oven baked cheese garlic rolls was ok, standard stuff.
the italian bakedsizzlerlooked good, the spaghetti had little flavour, the macaroni totally bland.
the paneer ka baapsizzleralso looked good, the paneer was soft & tasty, the gravy lacked flavour.
the penne al forno is a big no, completely bland & flavourless.

needs improvisation in bringing enough flavours and taste to the dish.
quantity of the food was sufficient.
plating not that impressive (excluding the sizzlers)

service
is good. but slow , sluggish.

they have valet parking.

we (my family) visited this place on my brothers birthday. wasn't disappointed at all. being a veggie i can say that this place is a paradise for all vegan lovers.

for starter we ordered american corn cheese balls. the dish had more of corn which dominated the taste and the presence of cheese couldn't be felt at all. a bit disappointing.

the ambience is okayish and not that great. we ordered the tandoori paneer shashlik sizzler, chinesesizzlerand paneer ka baap sizzler. the three
were very well cooked and were exquisite.

next we decided to order spicy vegetable ranch pizza from the thin crust pizza section. it was one of the best thin crust pizzas that i ever had. we were bowled over by the perfection of the dish.

overall the experience was very good. if i ever visit coimbatore again iam pretty sure i won't give this place a miss.
