i would have given zero stars if i could have. this "fancy" hotel in manipal is the most disgusting! gave us the worstfoodpoisoning of our lives which took us days to recover. you ruined a great holiday for us! feel like suing this place. thefoodwas undercooked and tasted bad. we just thought it was that, till we fell so sick! pls skip this place if you value your health.

ordered for breakfast,foodfeels stale and old, not fresh or hot at all.
the chicken was not crispy.
very very bad experience for the price they charged.
the only thing good about it were the fries.

we stayed at country inn & suites manipal and had an amazing experience. one of the primary reasons for a memorable vacation was the deliciousfoodthey served. the whole team is very warm and friendly and their service is quick. their in-room dining service is also very prompt and the menu is vast. both their restaurants are really good. we tried the mangalorean cuisine at mosaic and all the dishes were great. met the chef and he explained a lot about the dishes. my favourite was the kori gassi and neer dosa. the seafood is really fresh and a must have. their asian and north indian cuisine is equally good. we ate some pan asian dishes for the first time and they were delicious. their desserts were the highlight of every meal. they also have an expansive buffet which has good variety of dishes. the rooftop restaurant is for fine dining and the view at sunset from the rooftop pool is beautiful. it has a great ambiance to chill out and enjoy with friends and family.

if hospitality dies somewhere.....then this is the place. its a graveyard for hospitality and surprisingly a big brand like radisson endorses this property and probably that's what got me here. unnecessary wait at the restaurant to be seated because staff is confused and the host is lost, told they are seating inhouse guests first wish they told me earlier would have saved myself from such horrible experience. anyways, got a table after unnecessary wait as staff were occupied pretending to be busy. they could have made this up by offering goodfoodbut waitress straight away said go for the buffet while i insisted for a la carte and she was angry. came with one menu and no bar card and finally told a la carte will take ages to come. finally, decided for buffet as already waited a lot and wow...plates are missing, fish curry has only curry left and i am not at a roadside dhaba to raise the issue, someone should be looking and refilling. finally got somefoodand no starters, looked and it was sitting out without any signs or staff guiding there. bar table is as dirty as it could be and staff are busy talking to themselves. the only hope i have is to pay and leave the place to never come again. yeah,foodwas just ordinary definitely i can get much betterfoodaround. being an alumni of india's premier hotel institute and have worked with global brands, to see this state of affairs in such a lovely industry is worrisome. one more thing, desserts were disaster too. sorry, was able to get pic from one side of the bar as other was too dirty with half filled glasses and used straws in them. and virgin mojito come with lemon seeds fortunately you just pay for the drink, seeds are free. yes, i could have asked for another drink but was done with the overall experience.

we had booked a table for dinner at country inn manipal for our dad's birthday. it was a pleasant surprise to see our table was arranged on the terrace and lighted with candles and flower petals. the ambience was quite pleasing. mr. michael, the restuarant manager, along with his staff arranged all this and he was all there throughout to help us choose the bestfoodand beverages for the evening. we enjoyed the evening.

we have stayed in this hotel for our trip to udupi...so we had break fast and dinner here..in breakfast they have many varietiesfoodserved were fresh and good not very tasty though..in dinner we had paneer pakoda,pasta ,rotti sabji ,jeera rice and dal ..all are ok not so great in taste and quite expensive but less in quantity..

you might go to this place with a lot of expectations since this is supposed to be the best place to hangout in manipal. there were two restaurants in here, this review is about the ground floor one. i do not know about ala carte but the buffet disappointed me. there were only two starters- both for veg and nonveg. although they tasted good, but you expect more from such places. the service was also not great. only when you ask for another round, do they serve you.  coming to main courses, the biryani was good and so was the fish. but unfamiliar dishes and an expectation that thefoodwould be excellent made the experience not so worthy! the desserts were okay and too much fancy i felt. there should be gulab jamuns, ice creams and porridge instead of orange sandwich, mango cake and such uncommonfooditems. the ice cream that we ordered was so delayed that we had to cancel it. the drinks came much later, when we were about to finish our dinner.

manipal being a student town is full of budgetary eateries with goodfoodto offer. we wanted a little more than that to spend quality family time accompanied with greatfoodso checked zomato and zeroed in on mosaic the restaurant at country inn radisson
went for dinner and opted for buffet. out of 2 veg starters the beetroot tikki stands out and my daughters who dislike beetroot asked for seconds. among non veg starters the chicken kebab was king though fish wasn’t bad also. only thing i opted from main course was mahi gassi, kadhai chicken and bhindi do pyaja to go with garlic naan and everything tasted nice. coming to desserts there was variety of bakery items and balushahi and kashi halwa made of lauki and was outstanding.
overall a very nice meal in a cosy atmosphere which wasn’t heavy on pocket either. i wish there was more choice in desserts and in breads too like a kulcha or lachha parantha but would recommend it to any visitor to manipal.

love thefoodat this place. courteous staff, well maintained restaurant and cutlery. would go once again. prices are too not high. there was a biryani fest and the biryani where awesome but the rice was undercooked .
