you might go to this place with a lot of expectations since this is supposed to be the best place to hangout in manipal. there were two restaurants in here, this review is about the ground floor one. i do not know about ala carte but the buffet disappointed me. there were only two starters- both for veg and nonveg. although they tasted good, but you expect more from such places. the service was also not great. only when you ask for another round, do they serve you. coming to main courses, the biryani was good and so was the fish. but unfamiliar dishes and an expectation that the food would be excellent made the experience not so worthy! the desserts were okay and too much fancy i felt. there should be gulab jamuns, ice creams and porridge instead of orange sandwich, mango cake and such uncommon food items. the ice cream that we ordered was so delayed that we had to cancel it. the drinks came much later, when we were about to finish our dinner.
