diamond hotel'scornicheoffers one of the best buffets in the metro, and it just got better. recently,cornicheintroduced the friday lobster buffet for a limited run, all-you-can-eat lobster, prepared any way you want, along with a variety of fresh seafood. the seafood display is the highlight of the buffet, featuring rock lobster, slipper lobster, fresh oysters, mussels, clams and crabs. after you make a selection, the chef then plates it for you, ready to eat. just add some lemon butter and you're good to go. or you can have the chef prepare it any way you want, sauteed in butter, baked with four cheeses, grilled or wok-fried with salt, pepper and chilies. how about a pasta dish with lobster? no problem. pizza? easy. the best part? you can try all of them. and come back for more.
the price for the friday lobster buffet is higher than the usual weekday buffet, and it may seem pricey initially at p 2,385++ per person. but if you consider the cost of a lobster dinner in any high-end establishment, plus the fact that you can have as many lobsters as you want, then its really not a bad deal. the friday lobster buffet also offers a carving station for prime rib, a grill station for assorted meats, a japanese station for sushi, sashimi and tempura, a chinese station with barbecued meats and peking duck, as well as the usual cheese and cold cuts station, a pasta station, a salad station and desserts. the layout of the different stations and the seating options are conveniently arranged. service is excellent, as one can expect. the buffet starts at 6pm every friday, and a line normally builds up before 6pm. the friday lobster buffet is on a limited run only, so call ahead to book your reservations.
would i come back? absolutely. just seeing that much lobster is worth the cost of the buffet.
