most horrible food i ever tasted!!. after reading many reviews saying that this place is great, we decided to go ahead and try it out. our appetizers (mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, onion rings) were all definitely out of the frozen foods isle at walmart. no taste and just pretty much plastic looking - $11!.

then, the main course came and after a couple of bites we asked for the check. we got the "best baltimore ribs"- which they only serve as a full rack for dinner - which looked like they were boiled cat ribs! tiny portion, gamy flavor, and a disgusting "barbecue sauce" to top it off! this was $21! pretty much was a layer of bones on top and a layer of meat at the bottom which you couldeatin one mouthful. mac and cheese was watery and tasteless - actually, tasted like plastic.

we also got the fried chicken - $16. it was crispy but tasteless and raw in the middle. the service was horrible and by the time we left the place smelled like wet dog.

horrible horrible place! do not know why it's getting decent reviews! had to come home andeata bowl of cereal!

very simple review: ribs. crab cakes. mashed potatoes. their barbecue sauce is one of a kind, and i eagerly dip my potatoes and crab cakes in eat. they are a bit pricey but are equally tasty. sad thing is i don'teatpork anymore and i haven't been back since i refrained from the hog but i'm sure they still have something for me. recommended.

good food but it's expensive and youeatoff of wax paper in a plastic basket!. i really like the food here and the service is excellent but for the prices they charge they should atleast serve there customers on a plate and not a plastic basket. i find it to be a major turn off by paying there high prices and getting served a meal in a plastic basket.

best ribs ever. now corner stable has ruined my ability toeatrib’s anywhere else. they are fantastic. it isn’t a place big on presentation, or nice décor. you get your food in waxed paper lined plastic baskets. which that does makes sense, since most rib eaters are messy. their sauce is great, and the ribs literally fall off the bone. i always go in there with the intentions of getting something other than ribs. the farthest that has gone is me getting a salad, prior to my ribs, and occasionally i get fried shrimp, and only half a rack of ribs. the sauce is also added on the chicken, and the big eaters (mostly guys) in my family, are able to do both the ribs and chicken. if you’re a crab-cake lover, i do recommend trying it there with a half a rack of ribs. they have a nice large crab cake with little filler. it’s very consistent, but where they get their meat from, i’m unsure. the shrimp are big, and are ok. but you really can’t hold me to my judgment on fried shrimp. i’m a steamed shrimp girl, and even though i love fried food, sea-food is not one of them. i have tried all the sides, and i have opted that my favorite is the mac-n-cheese, very rich, creamy, and good. also a little know fact there is, if you ask for corn-bread, they will give it to you. it’s not on the menu, nor does the wait-staff mention it, but it is really good, and totally a different style than andy nelson’s. (which i’m very fond of.) the price is above normal fare, so you don’t often see large family’s there. if you have hungry teen-age boys, they can most certainly fill up there. the have a small bar, that a few regular’s frequent to watch games, andeatribs. they also have keno, which i know some people love. the wait staff is generally friendly, and will humor you with the occasional joke. they are highly popular for lunch, and if you order to-go, their pretty swift about that too. the big thing they do which i think is great, you can order your own ribs from them, to take home and grill, which is very nice, if you want to entertain. overall, i will never say no to corner stable, and it is a favorite in my family. my mother, who lives 45 mins away, will quite often make her way over for some ribs. they have good food, and anything on appearance their lacking, they make up for in quality of service.
