boiled bbq. how can any establishment that sells so called bbq consider what looks and taste like ribs that are boiled, dipped in sauce and maybe thrown on the chargriller bbq. terrible. with all the things i dont like about this place i have to say their crab cake is tasty. maybe get rib of the best ribs in baltimore sign and replace it with decent crab cakes.

just horrible. the ribs were mediocre, the fries were soggy and cold, the rest of the food reheated, and all plastic silverware and plates.

they were drenched in this sweet, tangy, smoky sauce. i've never tasted a sauce like that before. it wasn't too sweet as some bbq can get, but it was just the perfect amount of tang plus smoke. the meat fell off the bone

picked here based on reviews, was taking customers from out west to dinner well i wasn't steered wrong. i don't order crab cakes out a lot since my mom makes them homemade but these were really good. we had a great waitress & even though the place was packed once seated didn't feel closed in. we ordered the meal with 1/2 rack of ribs which weren't my favorite but i don't prefer vinegar based barbaque.

this was my first time at the corner stable. i went on a monday night and the place was packed, likely because of the rib special. there was no wait. they moved people in and out quickly though i never felt rushed. the server was very attentive, and our food came out quickly.

i ordered the barbecued chicken breast with seasonal vegetables (squash, snap peas, carrots, and broccoli) and long grain wild rice. my sister ordered the ribs with fries. we also ordered some cornbread, which was sweet.

i thought everything i had was excellent. i really enjoyed the chicken which i found very tender and tasty. my sister said the ribs were fall off the bone tender. her only critique was that her fries were somewhat limp and not at all crispy, which she prefers. the cornbread was very tasty, and the portion size was generous and enough for at least two people to share.

i did not have room for dessert, but the range of options was impressive.

the price range is a bit high for my college student budget (about $14 for each meal with the rib special, without the rib special the ribs would have been about $21). however, i had to take a to go box home, so i effectively got two meals for that price.

the atmosphere was pleasant too. though the restaurant is somewhat small, or at least has lots of seating which makes it feel small, it felt cozy instead of crowded. i appreciated that the bar area was separate from the main dining area. the building and decor were interesting, especially if you enjoy horses and horse racing.

the ladies room was clean though a bit small with two awkwardly placed stalls.

there were tvs throughout the room, but the volume was low or muted. they played no music, and the restaurant was filled with happy chatter. the noise level was pleasant.

the restaurant was decorated for the holidays and i enjoyed the tasteful holiday decorations both in the restaurant and outside the restaurant.

the parking situation is pretty bad, at least if you want to park by the restaurant. we ended up parking in the shopping center parking lot and walking just a couple of minutes to the restaurant. i would not recommend parking in their alternative parking, which is by battery warehouse, as it is further away than the shopping center parking lot.

all in all, i enjoyed this dining experience and recommend the corner stable to anyone who enjoys good food.

never again. i don't understand why people go there! extremely disappointed! paper plates (?) sad tasteless appetizers, the famous ribs were just a bunch of bones with very little questionable (maybe turkey vulture) meat on them. fried chicken was under cooked and tasteless. just plain bad! never ever again!

most horrible food i ever tasted!!. after reading many reviews saying that this place is great, we decided to go ahead and try it out. our appetizers (mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, onion rings) were all definitely out of the frozen foods isle at walmart. no taste and just pretty much plastic looking - $11!.

then, the main course came and after a couple of bites we asked for the check. we got the "best baltimore ribs"- which they only serve as a full rack for dinner - which looked like they were boiled cat ribs! tiny portion, gamy flavor, and a disgusting "barbecue sauce" to top it off! this was $21! pretty much was a layer of bones on top and a layer of meat at the bottom which you could eat in one mouthful. mac and cheese was watery and tasteless - actually, tasted like plastic.

we also got the fried chicken - $16. it was crispy but tasteless and raw in the middle. the service was horrible and by the time we left the place smelled like wet dog.

horrible horrible place! do not know why it's getting decent reviews! had to come home and eat a bowl of cereal!

very simple review: ribs. crab cakes. mashed potatoes. their barbecue sauce is one of a kind, and i eagerly dip my potatoes and crab cakes in eat. they are a bit pricey but are equally tasty. sad thing is i don't eat pork anymore and i haven't been back since i refrained from the hog but i'm sure they still have something for me. recommended.

avoid the lunch rush. great lunches. great bbq. very small parking lot, so you will probably have to park at the strip mall next door and walk 100 yards around the iron fence to get in. if you go during lunch of dinner rush this is a guarantee. prices are a bit high. everything is always good tasting.

wasn't impressed with food! i expected to get some lip smacking ribs, but that wasn't the case. they ran out of cornbread. the food was not seasoned, however the tea/lemonade mix was pleasing.
