this is the only place in rosebud for great coffee and tasty food. has an excellent gift section as well.

i got the irish fry up, and it was legit! bangers and rashes taste the same as they do in england. really good breakfast, i'll be back.

looks can be deceiving. my sister and i randomly chose to grab breakfast here on sunday morning as we expored the area. there were diners inside and out - usually a good indication of the quality, or at least popularity of a cafe. we both ordered basic menu items: bacon and poached eggs. we noted plates coming out to other diners with bacon piled high and were impressed with the meal sizes. one by one the tables around us were served thier meals. after 25 minutes we inquired as to where our meal were at. our school boy waiter checked and advised us that our order had been missed, and offered a weak apology. ten more minutes and around 12 plates later, our breakfast had not arrived. i asked for the manager and was told that the chef was in charge. we were then told our meals were not their priority, the other diners were, whose meals were already been started. i questioned how hard it would have been to take some bacon off the hotplate and poach a couple of eggs. there was no response. suffice to say we requested a refund for our meals and coffee and left quick smart. the lack of front of house management and the poor customer service was very disappointing.

cool vibe. great breakfast. nice staff. cowboy scrambler was very good and the portuguese sweetbread french toast was some of the best ever had. try this place.

good food let down by service. we found this a pleasant place to have breakfast and typically enjoy the food and atmosphere which we've found is normally good, if not on the more expensive side overall. you probably won't have any trouble if you stick strictly to the menu items (which you're asked not to amend in any way), and you don't need to say anything to the young staff beyond what a nice morning it is or pay your bill. there did not appear to be any front of house person or manager to deal with any issues beyond the mundane. if they need to compromise to resolve an issue, chances are it won't end well.

very poor customer service with extremely long wait time for food.

waited an hour for food for a group of two. somehow two other tables had gotten their food before us, despite being seated and ordering after us. staff did not seem impressed when we had to follow up on our order.

food was average at best and came out cold. i would recommend going to other cafes in the area.

staff were not friendly and did not acknowledge that we were waiting for such a long time.

i was surprised to see there were seats in there when every other cafe around was full. the food was really bland and we won’t return. the atmosphere is great so that was very disappointing for us. the staff were friendly enough.

i felt they were under staffed and it was hard to find a table and get seated. the chicken focaccia was okay, but the caesar salad was the worst caesar i've had in my life... the 'smoked chicken' was cold and was basically just chicken deli meat and the 'poached' egg' had a fully cooked yolk. plus the prices were no cheaper than the average cafe (caesar $22, focaccia $10), which would (hopefully) serve higher quality dishes.

we fancied a coffee after a bunnings trip. accordingly, we stopped for a spell at this clean and homely cafe situated on a corner just across from the beach. the location explains the name. it’s a spacious cafe with three different seating areas including a large outdoor area at the front. the pre prepared foccacias and snacks here looked good. the meals coming out looked pretty good as well.

the coffees were nice albeit served in fairly small cups. service was certainly pleasant if a little languid as the coffee took some time to come out. no matter. zen is the order of the day.

i’d happily return here at some yet to be determined stage.

extremely bad and rude service. i ordered egg florentine with salmon. it came out just spinach no salmon. complained to the staff. they didn’t offer any apology whatsoever and insisted me paying one dollar for the salmon because the salmon is so expensive. very rude. will never come back again!

had a lovley big breakfast, it was an excellent size however you can’t make any alterations to it. that was a bit disappointing. i had a mixed berry smothie and it was delicious. will be back

we got the field bruschetta and big breakfast. field bruschetta was yum! coffee was good, service was great and prices were fair. we didn’t plan on coming here but we would happily return!

if you have to eat somewhere then this probably isn't the worst place to eat, but i wouldn't be placing my expectations too high. also, going on a bit too enthusiastically on the 'toasting' aspect of the food and almost crossing the line to burning.
