return customer. i have been to bmc many times for breakfasts, it's always a winner in my opinion and i have always experienced great food and service here. berry french toast is my fav and they also do a a good eggs benedict. i don't understand the previous comments about high prices when the serving sizes are generous and the bread used is quality. coffee is not the best i've had, but it is made correctly and served promptly. staff are always friendly and accommodating here

gpo rosebud wouldn't do take away, these guys happily would, very accomidating. genuinely nice food and good coffee. great service, recommended!!

not very good. food was average and a bit overpriced. worse thing was the head staff lady - rude in a passive aggressive type way when we asked to use 2 entertainment book vouchers. even though you order and pay separately at the counter she said the table could only use one coupon between 9 people. not in the spirit of the enterprise. definite lost 9 customers due to rude manner.

had breakfast, bacon and eggs and the potatoes. nice clean hot tasty food.

most overpriced cafe for poor quality, sour service and lousy coffee on the peninsula. ate a full veg brekkie here 3 years ago i was in heaven - grilled asparagus and layered potato sour cream. now? hash brown, no asparagus and still $23. gluten free toast pay an extra $4. when i asked about this i was told it costs more to ship quality food from melbourne. there are good peninsula artisan bakeries. total rip-off and they don't deserve the business but sadly few choices in rosebud.

everything was fresh with a homemade taste. the restaurant is small but has a cozy, home style ambiance. this restaurant was a great stop for breakfast before participating in other activities in the area. one downside is that there is no parking lot, so you have to attempt to find street parking (luckily we found something close, but i imagine it gets pretty crowded on a ty

third time i have written this and it keeps getting taken down. interesting. i went there yesterday for a quick bite of lunch because we had previously, this year, had a couple of nice breakfasts there. i had a veg tart and my partner had the salmon tart. they came out quickly and it showed because the pastry was soggy (microwaved only) and it was around 1.30 mid week so they weren't busy and could have given them some oven time. my partner was feeling unwell all day so i'm not sure if the salmon tart had been there a bit too long or it was because during our lunch a young waitress brandishing a white bucket marked "toilet clean" with a smiley face on it, and carrying it waist high and close to our table walked by to the toilet door. then she proceeded to prop it open (we were sitting close but it wasn't an issue until the door was open and we could see the toilets!) and cleaned them. the stench of cleaning fluid ruined any palate for the coffee and food as well as the visual affect. not cool. staff training guys! these things don't need to be done so obviously and not during lunch hour, surely? some places are so focussed on their processes they forget about the customer experience. customers are their bread and butter - disappointed.

bad, bad, bad! the owner has a terrible attitude and has a sour rude attitude. terrible coffee, awful over priced food, bad service. avoid like the plague.

this place is a winner! just had a beautiful breakfast here and the eggs and bacon was perfect, coffee spot on and banana smoothy was really nice! i e eaten here a few times and never had a bad meal. two thumbs up for me!

this is by far the best breakfast spot in newport! down to the irish breakfast choice on the menu, and amazing pancakes. the sausage tastes homemade and the homefries are lightly fried and not heavy. you can't go wrong with picking this place for your breakfast needs.

wouldn't have thought that toasting a pre made ham & cheese croissant was on the challenging list but apparently it is! burnt! it's one thing to burn it but to then serve it...are you kidding me? won't be back!
