great spanish atmosphere and decor. place is crazy crowded on weekend evenings and parking is a complete nightmare so expect frustration and delays. serviceis impeccable and the food is great but a tad pricey but so is all the food in the clearwater/tampa area.

amazing! fresh good! amazing drinks- especially bloody marys and mojitos! you can tell all the sauces and dressings are made from scratch! mojitos are made right in front of you ! goodservicealso! fresh bread and butter before your meal and great view of water!

made a reservation via open table and came here on a monday night. there is valet parking (i believe free but of course tips is a must) which should be considered as the parking lot gets quite full. theserviceand food were pretty good but honestly nothing special considering the prices per dish. only issue i had was wait time was 30min. kids were hungry and filled up on the warm bread.

have visited a few times. they gave a chicken dish (with a spanish cheese) that i really like. can't remember it's name. wasn't crazy about the house salad, but a friend loves the salad. all a matter of taste... greatserviceat the bar too.

very good place to eat, nice view of the intercostal.servicehas always been great. we chose to do a seafood trio combo, a combo of tapas. it was wonderful! they have great sangria and mixed salads as well. check this place out! it's very classy, so don't wear swim trunks and sandals in!

overpriced spanish version of an olive garden.. ok, so i just came back from a $90.00 dinner for two, which of course inculded the watered down mixed at your table sangria, and the over salted chicken and rice combined with a pork dish that had the taste of a meal right out of denny's. bottom line, if you think olive garden is, "authintic italian", then you will love this place. on the other hand if you know what spanish/cuban food should taste like, well let's just say this is not it. i should say, it is a well decorated restaurant, and theserviceis nice, now all they need is a cook.

mr. & mrs.. weekend for my family and i over in clearwater this past holiday weekend. our room was located just next door to the restaurant. decided to place order for pickup. ordered the paella and cubans. food was extremely over cooked and bland. only 2 shrimps throughout enter dish, chicken over cooked, rice mushy. just down right poor quality for money spent. we frequent the tampa location which we've never experienced such horrible food. and to mention the cashier at cashout. not welcoming. just poorserviceall around. never again

the flavor meld of the food is exquisite, and left us all drooling. also try their "rusty" wine, which $5 per bottle goes to university of florida! (you can also get it by the glass)
they know their food and if you want a real treat, this rocks!

my galpal, aries wench, and i wanted to celebrate a recent friday in style with a gurlz waterfront lunch on the beach...but being more in the mood for white tablecloths and higher-endservicethan we were for wooden tables, anchors and plank floors, we found ourselves in a bit of a conundrum.  i almost always enjoy columbia and have dined at most of the locations across the state, but i always seem to forget about the one on sand key.  fortunately, my aarp brain fog momentarily lifted on this occasion and, after digging deeply into my memory banks, i knew i'd found our spot. the clearwater outpost offers the best of both worlds: typical columbia decor (albeit a bit lighter and airier than some of the others, befitting its intracoastal location)... ...along with outdoor seating and sparkling, panoramic water views. we got the party started with a requisite pitcher of cava sangria...a delightfully refreshing and sneakily deadly concoction of spanish sparking wine, brandy, orange liqueur,

good food and friendlyservicein an unsuspecting location.

mmmmmm good food. we like the columbia restaurants. this one is a good one. had lunch on labor day and tried the eggplant riojana. it was very tasty and the texture was perfect, with just the right balance of sweetness from thr plantain crumbs. the cuban bread there is sooooooooooooo good, and they serve it to you with butter that is soft, duh! they got that right!!!! we usually get the good sangria, very mmmmmmmmmmm. friendly staff, goodserviceand clean!!!!

nice alternative. i recently stayed on clearwater beach for a week with a group of friends and we ate pretty much everywhere! i'm a big fan of cuban food so i wanted to eat at the columbia as an alternative to the seafood places were were dining at. the flank steak and black beans and rice were delicious and so was the 1905 salad - the restaurant needs a face lift but the food hit the spot! the sangria was pretty good too! a little pricey for cuban food but overall good experience -servicewas good!

went for good authentic cuban food and left disappointed. the food wasn't bad, but the place felt too foo-foo. the scenery was nice, food was ok,servicewas pretty poor. to say the waiter was uninterested in us is being nice.

all in all - go for the scenery and expect slow, inattentive service.
