amazing food. great plating. excellent service. reasonable prices. 8 of us dined here last night and all enjoyed the experience

cobblers restaurant, re-opened after a major refit sees this restaurant go from strength to strength. a so-called tavern, but the building, the ambiance and the food says something quiet different. dare i say, cobblers would probably be in the top 5 restaurants in the mandurah area ! please note  all  photographs are from the cobblers website, and they are in fact a true representational of the food that is served.

disappointed. since cobblers has re-opened i have been very disappointed in the restaurant meals.
the 300 gram rib-eye steak looks like a chop, the only thing that would weight 300 grams is the bone only!
the bar meals are nice and not bad value.
however for a tavern i believe their menus do not suit.

dry snapper. $39 x 3 for dry, well-overcooked snapper. told waitress but no sign of chef/cook or manager to discuss. still on the bill....$117 for dry fish? won't be eating there again.

top end prices...very middle of the road food. $39 for fish of the day.....the snapper was way overcooked and dry for 3 all of us. gee whiz, the only thing you can do wrong with fish is overcook it! we told the waitress about it but, as is usual these days, neither the chef nor the manager came out to discuss things. still on the bill...$117 for 3 dry bits of fish. hmmmm.. will we go back to eat there again? no way...it's slightly better than pub food at higher than average restaurant prices.
pub wise? friendly staff, good beer, good atmosphere....for a pub... not for an expensive restaurant
a shame.

my fav place atm..... have been to cobblers 4-5 times now for both lunch & dinner. i have always loved what i've ordered as has everyone i've been with. the peanut butter ice cream is to die for......cobblers also generously sponsors mandurah board riders.

the staff where outstanding in all ways and should be congratulated,thankyou guys.

fantastic experience for my entire family!. we'd heard nothing but great things about cobbler's tavern and decided to book a table for a family member's birthday. we've never had a dining experience like it. i personally have never felt so welcome in a venue in my years of dining out. the manager on duty at the time was friendly and greeted us with an enthusiasm that was refreshing and welcoming. we were seated at a lovely clean table and our drink orders taken promptly. our meals didn't take too long considering how busy they were. can i just say, the things we'd heard about the food didn't disappoint. fantastic night out for the family. will definitely visit again. 10/10.

my husbands birthday lunch, 26/7/14.. amazing good, we both had the sirloin steak, he had an ice cream dessert and i had a merangue dessert, he had cider to drink and i had lemon lime and bitters. as a little treat the waitress put a candle in his dessert :-) a very sweet gesture and a couple of tables around us sang happy birthday to him. :-) lots of fun and a delicious meal, great atmosphere. there was a slight problems with the bill, but easily sorted.

would totally, totally recommend this fabulous place.

wow - what a perfect lunch !. as soon as we saw the menu one of our friends commented - "this menu really excites me!" and she was so right, from the moment we saw the dishes coming past our table we had difficulty choosing from the interesting menu. we all had 3 courses and everyone was absolutely thrilled with their selections. cobblers ticks every box with their varied menu, excellent food served by staff who really take pride in their job. don't waste time and money travelling to the city, you won't get a better meal anywhere!

cobblers returns... my family went to cobblers for dinner on 24/04/14 and was very surprised! the menu and food was amazing, the service was excellent and overall evening enjoyable! 2 kids meals, 2 entrees, 2 main meals and 2 wines were $150!! a very happy family. we only wish it was in perth :(

great food and service unexpected in a tavern setting.

just superb!. my daughter booked us in for dinner tonight. the meal and service were excellent. only two of us had entrees. their blue manna crab cakes were delicious, as was the ash and black pepper squid. two chose steak for the main - cooked exactly as requested, whilst i had cobbler's take on chicken kiev, complete with prawns as a tasty extra. didn't think there would be room for dessert, but their dessert menu is varied and definitely worth trying. i had the churros with four dipping sauces.
my goodness! the tastiest salted caramel sauce i have ever eaten. i didn't get to try the ice cream - that went to the one who didn't order dessert!

i have to compliment the service. the wait-staff were attentive, very friendly and efficient. good timing between courses.
it was a positive thing to see how busy the restaurant was for a monday evening - i think this is a testament to the quality of the food and ambience.
it was only the second time i've been back to cobblers since it re-opened, but it was pleasing to see that the menu had changed with some new additions along with the regular steak and fish.

this was an excellent meal out and we will be back again soon. i think cobblers is going to become our new favourite place to go.

sensational. was not expecting such a high standard meal. every meal was presented very well and the staff attentive. started with garlic bread, 8 huge slices with evoo and balsamic. mains- gnocchi with mushrooms, very tasty. scotch steak with red wine jus was cooked to perfection and could be cut easily with a butter knife. espresso brûlée was served with a chocolate brownie and ice cream, sensational. apple and rhubarb crumble was served with strawberry sorbet and a gorgeous vanilla bean custard. will definitely be going back. not the typical pub meal i was expecting and the prices are reasonable too.
