cobb & co. rotorua

i have ordered the roastmealtwice and both times the vegetables have been hard as a rock. the pork tastes like its been frozen. the broccoli and cauliflower wouldn't even cut with my knife. i only ordered the roast because the deli roast was closed. extremely over priced bland food. how hard is it to cook vegetables properly? omg! 🤦‍♀️

had a lovleymealat this restaurant i recommend the apricot chicken, very filling , my partner ordered the lamb rump steak which was lovely we both had salad in our meals and we didnt enjoy the salad dressing. the only disappointing thing was how very little the portion size of the hot chips was, for the price you pay for. the chips were served in this tiny basket dont be fooled by the image i have included to this review as this is a close up shot. the service was ok.

outstanding service from all the lovely ladies for our recent dinnermealhere. the two ladies looking after us consistently checked in during the course of our meal, cleared plates promptly and provided great recommendations. chips with themealwere cooked to perfection. steaks cooked well but you will need to add pepper and salt - it also could have been rested more before being served. ribs were tasty and big, was so good. the stand out were their sticky date pudding dessert and toblerone cocktail drink. i was very pleased with mymealhere.

a childhood classic full of nostalgia! the staff were friendly and service was quick. there were plenty of options on the menu (including old favourites!). i ordered the hoover hogg which was nice but unfortunately the crackle wasn't crispy at all. the absolute highlight of mymealwas the sticky date pudding - hands down the best i've ever had in my life. big call i know, but so so good!

down in rotorua for a holiday, the family and i decided to go to cobb & co. for dinner as my parents had fond memories. i can't say that the memories will continue to be fond following our dinner.

service wise, the place was great. having not made a reservation we walked into a very busy restaurant expecting to be turned away, however, a very nice waiter managed to find us a table. the wait staff were great and clearly trying their best to serve a very busy restaurant without enough staff.

food wise, however, the place wasn't so good. i got a beef schnitzel. the ham inside was entirely overpowering and their was far too much cheese. i'm a big cheese fan but this was sickly. the favorite part of mymealwas the chips which i am sure are the same i buy from the supermarket.

added to that, themealtook an hour to arrive.
