cobb & co. rotorua

i've been here 5 times already the service and quality kept on deteriorating, tonight we had dinner there for a mate's birthday and we waited for almost 2 hours for our food. no one even came back to apologise for the wait and to tell us how much longer we have to wait or even just to see if there's anything else we need like another bottle of water atleast. considering they were not busy too. when our food arrived they were all cold even the sauce were cold. also i've noticed that their serving portions decreased. huge difference from when we first dined there to tonight's experience. not going back there anymore. and not to forget the guy who cleared our table didn't even say excuse at all to anyone, he just grabbed the plates didn't even say a word. however the lady who served us as well was sofriendlyand polite and enthusiastic just how a great hostess is, still not going back tho. not worth the money.

went last night with family for dinner. 5/5 stars - food was excellent, fresh and brought to you fast! didn't mind paying the price for food quality food and service!!. staff were prompt,friendlyand dedicated to good service. place was clean and lovely table dining area with private cubicle areas. will be back gain

food was good, except for the cauliflower which was raw, and hard. took over an hour to arrive .also our plates were not cleared after each course, and they just put out food down amongst it. had to ask for them to be cleared. reception staff were veryfriendlyand professional

food came an hour late, cold and wasn’t very nice in my opinion!? unfortunately still got fully charged. 😕 staff weren’tfriendlywhen being serviced too. wouldn’t recommend

we always come here, when visiting rotorua. usually quite busy, but not noisy. warm cozy atmosphere, superfriendlystaff, timely service, great food. most enjoyable family experience. value for money.

came here from auckland and i had never been!
food - the ribs were ok not the best i have tasted and a bit overpriced compared to how tasty it was.

i ordered the apricot chicken with baked potato (with sour cream) and salad and a side of mushroom sauce
pro’s - would definitely come back here only for the mushroom sauce it was the best thing i ordered and the salad was dressed well also which was nice.
cons - i didn’t like the baked potato i think mash would go better with the dish.
chicken was ok but probably not order it again.

ambience -
this place is definitely familyfriendlythere is a game space the kids can play in until the meals arrived and the waitresses were always smiling and reallyfriendlyto the kids which is so nice. the desserts were ok i loved the chocolate cake.

my review is based on the service, whether it was familyfriendlyand how quick the food arrived (under 30mins and it was a full house!) if anything was wrong with the above i would of given a 3

went there for a weekend get away from auckland. was greeted by afriendlywaitress, service is excellent. food is good. haven’t tried the auckland branch as it is closed down so glad to try the rotorua branch. will visit again if i go to rotorua.

food was good but not excellent restaurant was busy but food came out very quickly. it was good value for money stafffriendlyand accomodating. good place to take kids. i'd go back but will probably try something else next time

such good food. a wide variety with great quality! suchfriendlyand enthusiastic staff and service. absolutely loved it and would go back.

a childhood classic full of nostalgia! the staff werefriendlyand service was quick. there were plenty of options on the menu (including old favourites!). i ordered the hoover hogg which was nice but unfortunately the crackle wasn't crispy at all. the absolute highlight of my meal was the sticky date pudding - hands down the best i've ever had in my life. big call i know, but so so good!
