exquisite food and service. the triad restaurant club (check us out on facebook) decided to give this place a try. as self proclaimed "foodies" we are always looking for new and exciting places to try. our server kris, was top of the line. he was attentive without being overbearing or annoying!!! loved ya kris!!! we started with the appetizer sampler of three different appetizers. we order the baba ghannoush, mansoura dip and hummus. the baba ghannoush was perfect. the eggplant was fragrant and not over powering. the mansoura dip made such an impression that one of our foodie was searching the internet for the recipe. there wasn't a drop of it left. it was a little like tzatziki sauce with dill and maybe a touch of mint. the hummus was fresh and you didn't mind eating it plain, however you recieve bread and olive oil with your meal and the appetizer so you didn't have to do that. for drinks we had the fresh mango-guava juice, raspberry lemonade, sweet iced tea, coffee and water. we also tried the turkish coffee and latte. all were fabulous. for the meal we had lamb/beef shawerma with the salad and rice with nuts, raisin, onion mix.:, beef shiskabab with the grilled vegetables &white egyptian rice cooked with vermicelli , chicken shawerma with salad with olives and feta cheese added and the rice mix, the mixed grill and the egyptian steak. the food was excellent and the service was impeccable. for dessert 4 of us tried the umm ali while another tried the tanta baklawa. the desserts were to die for. the owner mr. yasser abdel-aziz was very helpful and was willing to help us understand the menu if we had any questions. we were very impressed with this restaurant and vow to make a return trip in the future. it's nice to find a place where the service and the food are excellent.
